Chapter 11 – Chapter 10 – Detecting
She said at the agency’s office her, a woman handed her a USB.
“This is all about Minji Choi.”
“It’s my first time using it, but it’s faster than I thought. Thank you. I’ll deposit the rest right away except for the down payment.”
The person who received the USB was Yurin.
“Thank you. Please visit me whenever you need me.”
Yurin thought highly of the agency’s ability to quickly get what she wanted as she left the agency’s building.
In just three days, she found out and brought me almost everything from her high school friends to her to her family to her.
I thought that it was a reliable and decent place as it was used frequently by the Fire Dragon Guild, so I thought of using it once if something like this happens ‘next time’.
With that thought in mind, she went home with a sense of anticipation.
I read everything from the USB, and there was a lot of pretty ‘good stuff’.
She thought it would be okay to ask several more times about people who would become close to Suna besides Minji.
After she became an adult, when she thought about what to do with situations that were difficult to resolve with violence, she remembered stories about ‘disappearances’ that are sometimes talked about in the media.
There were quite a few conspiracy theories about the disappearance cases that are sometimes talked about in the media because those who testified or acted against the ‘big guilds’ were sometimes subjected to.
There was evidence that I wanted to be almost certain, but most of them were ignored by the government.
In order to prevent talents such as high-ranking hunters from emigrating to other countries or being imprisoned, even though it is not a big problem due to the global wartime system caused by the gate.
The government tended to turn a blind eye to the tyranny of the giant guilds.
Of course, since I’m friends with Minji, I didn’t intend to ‘do it directly’ to Minji, but if Minji confesses to Suna or does ‘something’ that blocks the relationship between me and Suna, I thought it would be good to come up with one or two ways to stop it.
.
.
.
Minji Choi entered university and she met a lot of new people.
If there were any meetings, he attended most of them, treated his seniors politely, and took good care of difficult motives.
Among the insiders at school, it was the insider itself.
Minji also had worries.
Sun Ah-ra often thought about her classmate, Sun-ah.
On the day of her entrance ceremony, Sunah, who came in as the top student, was noticed by others because of her good looks.
I also thought of asking her ‘if she has a girlfriend’ when I saw her, but it wasn’t long before her Suna’s girlfriend her, Yoo Rin, put her arm around her waist her and looked at her. She could notice that she was already dating someone because she looked at the women who were watching.
Seeing that Yoo-rin keeps sticking around her Sun-ah no matter what gathering she goes to, she initially thought that she is someone who cares about her boyfriend a lot.
However, such incidents continued, and due to an incident, most of her classmates in the same grade knew that Yurin was a ‘woman with strong willpower’.
At a certain meeting, Seon-ah began to show her uncomfortable side to Yurin, but she seemed rather fed up with Yurin acting as if Suna belonged to her.
When a woman who was a classmate of her department entered her phone number to Sun-ah, she took Seon-ah’s smartphone on the spot and displayed it in front of the two people involved, erasing it, which no one expected.
“Don’t even take other girls’ phone numbers, and if something like this happens, delete it yourself from now on.”
At that time, Yurin spoke to Suna in a very cold tone, unlike her usual round and round appearance of her.
She was a ‘kind junior’ who seemed to be good at courting her when she was talking to other people, treated her seniors politely, and even helped them when they asked for help.
Even though she attends because of Sun-ah, after her drinking party is over, she calls several taxis herself and pays for them to send them away for her classmates who have been drinking.
Her kind-hearted, almost self-absorbed person her turns into a completely different person when it comes to her boyfriend her, Sun-Ah.
If this wasn’t a case of infidelity, I could have risked all my fortune.
From Yoo-rin’s point of view, who thinks so terribly of her self and her girlfriend her, can’t she see Sun-a feeling uncomfortable?
For me, it was just frustrating.
Sunah wondered why she was dating someone like that.
.
.
.
A senior who successfully returned to school after being discharged from military service invited people belonging to a group chat room to a drinking party saying he would buy a drink.
Yurin, who recently entered the group chat room, attended the drinking party.
Most people must have seen Yoo-rin for the first time out to a drinking party alone without her Sun-ah.
I was able to expect that because I also saw it for the first time, who attends all kinds of meetings.
At the meeting, a lot of stories came up, but when a senior who returned to school brought up the story of the military, it turned into questions and answers between former veterans and non-pillars.
It’s a story I don’t know well, but the atmosphere was ripe and it was in a good condition.
The hard way to quit smoking while drinking.
I don’t smoke, so I sat still when my seniors and classmates who smoked left for a while.
“Choi Min-ji? I’m Park Yoo-rin. The same classmates haven’t even introduced each other yet.”
While the senior and her classmates were away for a while, we talked about Yurin and her.
It was the same story as I did in a chat room, but I prefer to meet people and talk face to face rather than through text.
It is difficult to convey emotions because the text is seen only with the eyes.
Face-to-face conversation sees facial expressions and listens to speech.
I think it’s better communication using both sight and hearing.
Participating in most of the meetings is also largely because of my inclination.
As if Yurin is similar to me, she chuckles and says that she likes to “Meet people and talk in person.”
When there were one or two similarities with me, we talked about this and that to find more common ground.
After smoking, my classmates and seniors sat down, but the conversation between Yurin and I did not stop.
There were only one or two friends in high school with whom I got along so well, so I came to think of staying pretty close to Yurin.
After the drinking party, most people went home.
I’m a native of this area, so I don’t use the dormitory.
I am commuting from home.
Walking with ‘friends’ in a pleasantly drunk state gives me a funny feeling.
Because it was the same direction as Yurin’s room, he was walking and talking with a friend he seemed to have become close with.
In the meantime, she had a question about Sun-ah, so she asked Yoo-rin.
“Yurin-ah, you like Sun-ah, so you’re dating her. But sometimes, when I see Sun-ah acting like she doesn’t like it, you treat her differently than usual. Is there something wrong with you? “
Yurin looked at me with a cold look and said, as if she was a different person from the person she was talking to comfortably just before.
“It’s between me and Suna. Things between men and women are up to the parties themselves. It’s not something you can tell just by looking at them from the side.”
It was a bit cold, but Yurin was right.
Most people who know Suna know that Suna and Yurin have been dating for 15 years.
If so, there must be a secret between the two, and seeing that she has been dating them up to now, Sun-a may be condoning her abuser behavior of her.
There was a part that was a little unclear, but I quickly apologized because I felt like I was trying to recklessly measure the two of them while drunk.
“I’m sorry, I think I said it too carelessly when I was drunk. We’ve been dating for a long time, so there must have been things we agreed on. I thought it was too easy.”
Yurin erased her previous expression and smiled as if it was nothing.
“It’s okay to know”
The two of them changed the topic of conversation again and talked until they parted and went home.
.
.
.
After breaking up with Yurin, we kept in touch from time to time in chat rooms, so we decided to meet again at a drinking party that reoccured.
The atmosphere at the drinking party was ripe and most people were drunk.
As the saying goes, there were many people who confided in their conversation partners here and there.
I was talking to Yurin like last time.
Yurin suddenly asked me a question.
“But don’t you have a boyfriend?”
“I think it’s hard to get along with people because I have high eyes.”
When she said it as if she had no intention of being introduced, Yurin asked.
“Oh, how tall are your eyes? What’s your ideal type?”
“What should I say? I’m a bit lacking in expressiveness, so I’ll show you in pictures. There are several.”
I took out my smartphone and was flipping through the photos of my taste that I have as screenshots one by one in the gallery album.
In the meantime, a picture that I couldn’t show to Yurin came out.
These were the photos I downloaded on the day of the entrance ceremony.
Most of the pictures he downloaded to ‘comfort himself’ from various sites were pictures of breathtaking gravure models that were not openly erotic.
A beauty dot is embedded in the lower right corner of the right eye, and the style has sharp eyes with an elegant appearance.
In other words, there were several pictures of a man with a similar appearance to Sun-ah, almost naked, in silver form.
I hurriedly quickly flipped over and changed to another picture, then showed the other pictures as if nothing had happened.
It wasn’t an angry expression, as if Yurin didn’t notice properly.
‘Thank god’
“Oh, the taste is fine”
“Then, would you like me to send you some?”
“No, I like Sunah the most”
“Then I don’t know why you want me to show you this.”
“Anyway, I had a good time”
Minji felt like she had lost to Yurin.
Even between women, it was not easy for her to reveal such a secret taste, but she thought that she was quite friendly, so she only showed it, but she showed something unreasonable, so it was natural for her.
