Chapter 2024 – 2024. Newtype
Kang Eun-sook took Ma Young-jae into the room.
“Aaaargh! You, you bitch!!”
Ma Young-jae’s scream echoed. It was obvious what was happening inside the room.
After waiting a bit at the hideout, others came in.
The first to enter was Yang Yu-ra, pretending to be a middle schooler. She was smiling brightly, wearing a blood-soaked school uniform.
“Hi, Oppa. I saw you fighting Feedback earlier. You fought so cool… What kind of ability is that? A resurrection ability?”
“Knowing it will hurt you.”
“Aww. Just tell me.”
Yang Yu-ra was being clingy. I let it go in one ear and out the other. Next, Jung Soo-yeon came in. She was limping slightly on her left leg. It seemed she was injured. I was about to get annoyed but held it back.
“Our Soo-yeon. You got hurt by that toad bitch, didn’t you? I even trained you, but it was all for nothing. What a waste of time.”
Jung Soo-yeon’s cheeks flushed slightly. My sarcasm got to her, meaning she was also embarrassed.
“…It was just a slight mistake.”
I approached Jung Soo-yeon and examined her injury. It was a bit of a tear in the flesh. If it were a normal person, they would have to go to the emergency room right away, but for a Guardian, it wasn’t a big injury. With simple first aid, it would heal within a week.
There was a first aid kit at the hideout, so I decided to do the first aid myself.
“Sit down. I’ll disinfect it and apply some medicine.”
“I can do that myself without you.”
“It’s much more comfortable when someone else does it.”
Since items exist in this world, there are things like potions. The problem was that they weren’t cheap like potions in reality. There’s no magic or alchemy in this world. One potion costs tens or hundreds of billions. Even if you had a potion, you couldn’t use it for this kind of injury.
‘This brings back memories.’
First aid.
I learned it in my freshman year of college in reality.
You never knew what could happen in a dungeon, and potions weren’t unlimited. I learned first aid in preparation for emergencies.
I smiled after wrapping a bandage around the wound on her calf.
“Should we go to the hospital?”
“Nonsense.”
Jung Soo-yeon’s voice was flat. She didn’t seem upset.
Since I did first aid, shouldn’t I get a reward? I already touched Jung Soo-yeon’s chest earlier, so I touched her thigh. Her thigh was much firmer than her chest. It was quite satisfying to rub.
I made eye contact with Jung Soo-yeon. Her eyes narrowed, and she kicked me. I stepped back to avoid the kick.
“Why?!”
“I’m working.”
“The work is over.”
I grumbled and created some distance. If it’s not okay while working, then it means it’s okay to touch her after work. I could wait for 1-2 hours.
‘Since I’m in Gangwon-do, I should stay at a hotel. I wonder which one is good.’
Noh Kyung-hak came in. There were traces of injuries on his body. It looked like he was shot, but since he was a physical enhancement ability user, the injuries weren’t deep.
“Oh. There’s a first aid kit. It’s a bit hard to do it alone… Soo-yeon, would you help me?”
“Do it yourself.”
Jung Soo-yeon turned her gaze away from Noh Kyung-hak. Noh Kyung-hak sighed and rummaged through the first aid kit.
The last to arrive was Tae-yi. He sat down heavily on a suitable chair, his face worn out.
“Ugh… In the end, even the police chased us, it was really tough. We captured Ma Young-jae, right?”
Just then, Ma Young-jae’s scream echoed from the room.
“Kkyaaaaaaak!”
“Yeah, we did. I’m tired, so I’m going to sleep.”
Tae-yi crossed his arms, lowered his head, and closed his eyes.
Ma Young-jae’s screams continued, and everyone else spent their time in their own way. Yang Yu-ra was drawing in her sketchbook as a hobby, and Noh Kyung-hak was exercising while glancing at Jung Soo-yeon.
Jung Soo-yeon was looking up various things on her smartphone. I glanced and saw that the news was reporting Feedback’s death and Ma Young-jae’s kidnapping. Fortunately, the culprit was not identified.
I fiddled with Jung Soo-yeon’s hair. Since it wasn’t her body, she was quiet.
Click!
The door opened, and Kang Eun-sook came out.
She wiped the blood off her hands with a white cloth and looked around. Everyone, including Tae-yi who was sleeping, stared at Kang Eun-sook. The atmosphere was sharp. The people here were all enemies of the Yeonggwang Society for different reasons.
“I’ve found out everything I can for now. The first thing you need to know is that he is a Yeonggwang Society executive, but he’s not human.”
“If he’s not human, then what?”
Jung Soo-yeon asked.
“A Tot. You, a Guardian, should know better. It’s one of the monster types. That guy is a Tot pretending to be human.”
“Ha, a monster pretending to be human and working as a high-ranking official… If he’s a governor, that’s a really high-ranking official, isn’t it? Is it okay for a guy like that to hold such an important position? What’s going to happen to Korea…”
Tae-yi clicked his tongue.
“He said that dominating Korea is their first goal.”
“First? Then what’s the second?”
“China and Japan. Then the whole world. Korea is the starting point. After that, they will subjugate humanity to the Yeonggwang Society. That’s the Yeonggwang Society’s goal.”
“World domination? Ha. What a joke. There’s no way that’s actually possible…”
Noh Kyung-hak scoffed. But his eyes weren’t laughing. He knew the seriousness of the situation.
“More than half of Korea is already in the hands of the Yeonggwang Society. That plan isn’t impossible. According to Ma Young-jae, most of the Yeonggwang Society’s executives are made up of non-human races, and this plan has been secretly in progress for 50 years.”
“Secretly? That’s all they’ve done?”
Jung Soo-yeon quietly gritted her teeth.
“As it gets bigger, it’s bound to lose its secrecy. If it gets too big, it’ll be too noticeable. The bad news is that he doesn’t know all the Yeonggwang Society executives either. He said that he’s a low-ranking executive.”
“Don’t tell me we have to play tail-catching again?”
“We’ve found out who the mid-level executive is. If we catch him, we can find out who the chairman is.”
Kang Eun-sook calmly revealed the information she got from Ma Young-jae. Everyone held their breath. The Yeonggwang Society they were going up against was bigger than they thought. It was no exaggeration to say that more than half of Korea was already under the influence of the Yeonggwang Society. The Yeonggwang Society’s reach extended to the political, financial, and Guardian sectors.
But none of the people here were frightened. They had already risked their lives to kill the Yeonggwang Society long ago.
“The most dangerous one is the chairman of the Yeonggwang Society. It’s no exaggeration to say that the Yeonggwang Society was built by the chairman. We kill the chairman and then slaughter the remnants of the Yeonggwang Society. For now, that’s the most reasonable plan. If anyone has any other opinions, speak up.”
“……”
“I guess not. Let’s split up and hide for now. I’ll contact you first when things calm down.”
Just as everyone was about to leave, I stepped forward. I swaggered up to Kang Eun-sook.
“Do you have something to say?”
“Ma Young-jae. Give him to me. I’m the one who brought him here anyway, right?”
“Aren’t you going to kill him anyway? Keeping Ma Young-jae will only be a loss for you.”
“I have something to find out separately.”
I would use mind control to find out all the information Ma Young-jae might have hidden.
Kang Eun-sook hesitated and then nodded.
“I guess it’s okay. He killed Feedback and brought Ma Young-jae here himself, so he wouldn’t betray us… If you find out any additional information, please let me know.”
“If I feel like it.”
I called Kang Ji-ho and summoned him. Kang Ji-ho arrived in Gangwon-do in less than an hour and left with Ma Young-jae.
After that, I headed to a nearby hotel with Jung Soo-yeon.

The chairman of the Yeonggwang Society, Sang Joo-ok, sighed after hearing about what happened last night.
‘Ma Young-jae was kidnapped… This is a headache.’
Ma Young-jae, an executive of the Yeonggwang Society. In fact, Ma Young-jae wasn’t competent enough to be an executive. Ma Young-jae had only inherited the position from his father. He didn’t like it, but it was unavoidable for the smooth operation of the Yeonggwang Society.
‘There’s no way Ma Young-jae would endure torture and protect the Yeonggwang Society’s information… He’d easily spill everything if you just broke a finger.’
Ma Young-jae had to be found. And killed. Ma Young-jae was more valuable dead than alive. If he was mind-controlled and blabbed about the Yeonggwang Society, things would get troublesome.
‘Ma Young-jae will be tracked down and dealt with. If we gather specialized personnel… we can deal with it within a week. Finding the guys who kidnapped Ma Young-jae is a bonus.’
There were people who were hostile to the Yeonggwang Society.
No matter how well he led the Yeonggwang Society, it was impossible to handle everything perfectly. But he didn’t expect there to be such reckless people who would openly cause trouble.
‘Did we build up that much resentment? We need to clean them up. In that process, the identities of the enemies will be revealed.’
Click!
His door opened without a knock. Sang Joo-ok frowned and glared at his secretary, who had a hurried expression.
“What do you think you’re doing?”
“I-It’s a big problem! Ma Young-jae is holding a press conference right now!”
“What?”
The secretary turned on the TV in the room.
Ma Young-jae, with his limbs cut off, was sitting in front of a group of reporters.
-I, I am Ma Young-jae, the governor of Gangwon-do! I am a member of the Yeonggwang Society and a Tot! The Yeonggwang Society is mostly made up of alien races! We have joined forces to control humanity from behind! The ultimate goal of the Yeonggwang Society is to dominate humanity! The members of the Yeonggwang Society are as follows! Lawyer Han Jo-sung, Judge Ji Woon-yeol, Gangnam Hospital Director Gu Saeng-gu…
The names of the Yeonggwang Society members began to pour out of Ma Young-jae’s mouth. However, there were also people who were not members of the Yeonggwang Society mixed in.
“S-Stop him!”
“The chairman of Cheonil Group is directly controlling the situation! We have no influence!”
“Damn it! Combat unit! Send the combat unit to destroy the press conference…!”
“If you do that, it’s really over!”
People in black clothes appeared at the press conference. They were dragging humans. They were wearing human skin, but they were not human. The chairman’s face turned pale. He realized what they were trying to do.
‘These crazy bastards aren’t considering the social impact at all!’
A runaway train was speeding out of control.
As if they didn’t care if the world was turned upside down as a result.
‘We’re screwed!’
Impacto social jajaja, al proba eso le importa 3 nomás nucleares jajaja
