## Chapter 3 – (2)
Hanna stood frozen, unable to go outside with her shoes on, yet equally unable to take them off and come back inside.
Her trembling eyes darted towards the sound.
More precisely, towards the ringing phone.
“No, it can’t be… Please…”
Her desperate wish was mocked as Kim Tae-yang’s voice echoed from the phone once more.
[Shall we get serious now?]
[Aah… aah….]
With those words, moans erupted, and the sound of flesh slapping against flesh poured from the phone.
In an instant, Hanna collapsed, sinking to the floor.
Even without seeing the phone’s screen, Hanna covered her face with both hands, as if she had witnessed everything, utterly shocked.
I paused the phone for a moment and carefully helped her up.
Normally, she wouldn’t have allowed such a touch, but Hanna was so stunned that she gratefully accepted my support.
I sat Hanna back down on the sofa and said, “…Have some warm coffee.”
“…Sugar… please give me some sugar.”
It was the same coffee she had previously ignored despite my efforts, but now it seemed Hanna desperately needed it.
Like a snake shedding its skin, Hanna haphazardly dumped her belongings near the sofa again.
Unlike when she first entered my house, where she had neatly placed everything down, now she practically threw them onto the floor as if venting her anger.
Knowing how she felt, I didn’t bother to point it out.
“Here’s the sugar.”
I offered her the sugar and a spoon. Hanna wordlessly took them and began scooping sugar into her coffee.
Only when the sugar filled about half the cup did her furious spooning stop.
Despite the teeth-rotting sweetness, Hanna drank the coffee in one gulp.
The sugar seemed to clear her complicated mind, and she cautiously asked, “…Why did Tae-yang, I mean Kim Tae-yang, send you this video?”
“…The woman in the video is my girlfriend.”
“Ah… I’m, I’m sorry…”
Hanna seemed to have sensed something like that, but when I stated it so plainly, she bowed her head deeply and apologized.
I smiled and told her it was okay.
My smile seemed to make her feel even more guilty, and she kept her gaze fixed on the coffee cup, now only containing sugar.
Hanna’s expression changed constantly as she fidgeted with the cup.
Betrayal and anger towards Kim Tae-yang, combined with guilt and a strange sense of responsibility towards me, appeared on her face in turn.
Seizing the opportunity, I brought up the topic.
“I think I’m just going to report him to the police.”
“Re, report him?”
“Yeah… I want revenge, but I can’t really think of any other way…”
“…Yeah, that’s right. Report him… haa…”
Hanna nodded with a long sigh.
She seemed to understand my desire for revenge, but the word “report” felt heavy.
The fact that Kim Tae-yang had sent me such a video was enough to report him.
I just hadn’t done it for the sake of revenge.
“Actually, I was thinking of just uploading this video to social media—”
“That!”
Hanna interrupted me, her eyes wide with surprise.
She looked as if she was begging me, even grabbing my hand, saying that she couldn’t allow that.
But she couldn’t bring herself to say that it shouldn’t be done.
Saying that would make it seem like she was shielding Tae-yang, who had committed the wrong.
So, Hanna bit her lip and looked up at me.
She was acting out of desperation, but her actions were stimulating my male instincts.
“Please… refrain from doing that…”
She murmured softly, her voice like a whimpering puppy.
I could guess the reason.
She wasn’t saying those words for Kim Tae-yang’s sake.
Hanna’s profession was that of a social media star.
When I explored her social media, I found that Hanna, despite being a regular person, was a celebrity who received advertisements for cosmetics and sportswear to promote.
She had countless followers and fans on her account, and she had achieved this in less than a year.
In fact, I thought she could grow even more.
Yes, if Kim Tae-yang didn’t exist.
Kim Tae-yang was the main culprit causing Hanna complex emotions.
He was her precious boyfriend, but many fans pointed out Kim Tae-yang’s rough appearance and past, advising Hanna to break up with him.
In fact, comments exposing Kim Tae-yang’s past were posted on her posts every time she almost forgot about it.
And every time, Hanna diligently shielded her boyfriend.
The past is just the past. He’s working hard to atone, and Kim Tae-yang has changed.
She said that, forcibly defending her boyfriend.
She fought with fans because of it, and some fans left after seeing that.
That’s probably why she reacted so sharply when she first met me, asking if I was a victim of his past.
‘But Kim Tae-yang hasn’t changed.’
What would happen if I uploaded Kim Tae-yang’s true nature to social media?
At the very least, it would cause significant damage to Hanna’s account.
“Is there perhaps something troubling you…”
“That’s…”
Hanna couldn’t answer my question easily.
She couldn’t bring herself to ask the man whose girlfriend had been stolen to refrain from seeking revenge.
Especially since the reason was her social media.
Hanna became tight-lipped, only twitching her parched lips.
“Or, there’s another way…”
“Another way?”
Hanna eagerly took the bait, as if she saw a glimmer of hope when I spoke in a small, fleeting voice.
But I didn’t answer, awkwardly smiling.
I avoided Hanna’s eyes as if I had imagined something I shouldn’t have.
Seeing this, Hanna looked at me and asked desperately.
“Um… never mind.”
“What is it? It’s okay! Tell me.”
“No, it’s really just a thought I had… you’ll feel bad if you hear it.”
“How could I feel any worse right now? It’s all Kim Tae-yang’s fault. It’s okay. Tell me.”
“Ah…”
Hanna urged me to answer, growing impatient each time I hesitated.
I deliberately looked at Hanna as carefully as possible and started talking.
“What about… doing the same thing?”
“The same thing…?”
After hearing my words, Hanna paused for a moment, then looked at me with a gasp.
She seemed to understand the meaning of what I said.
“Th, that’s not it, right?”
“Pardon?”
“I mean…”
Hanna looked around, unsure how to say it, then tapped my phone with her finger.
More precisely, she pointed to a video that was paused on the phone.
“Th… this?”
“…Yes.”
Hanna was flustered.
An awkward silence flowed between us for a while, then Hanna smiled and said.
“…It wouldn’t even be revenge anyway, right? He’s a guy who dumped me and cheated on me with another woman.”
Hanna shook her head.
She was resigned, saying that she was as good as abandoned.
Was that really the case?
I thought differently.
I had watched the video over and over, but I didn’t feel that Kim Tae-yang had cheated because he genuinely liked my girlfriend.
Rather, he was just using her.
If you compare Kim Tae-yang’s behavior towards my girlfriend with his behavior towards Hanna on social media, you can easily notice it.
He was just using my girlfriend as a sexual outlet to satisfy his strange tastes.
Then why did Kim Tae-yang, who had a girlfriend, cheat?
“Do you perhaps… do you have any skinship with Tae-yang these days?”
“S, skinship? No, not really… I don’t really like it.”
“Could that be the reason?”
“Because I avoid skinship…?”
Of course, that wasn’t necessarily the right reason.
It was just a possibility.
Maybe Kim Tae-yang simply had a tendency to steal other people’s women, just like his name and appearance suggested.
A shadow of guilt appeared on Hanna’s face again.
Just one last step.
I felt that if I could take just one more step, Hanna would accept my proposal.
“Don’t worry. I won’t do the real thing, no matter what.”
“The real thing…?”
“I won’t go as far as penetration. I can’t drag Hanna-ssi that far into my revenge.”
Penetration.
Hanna’s mood softened considerably at the mention that I wouldn’t engage in full-fledged sex.
“Re, really?”
“Yes, I will never do it unless Hanna-ssi wants me to.”
“There’s no way I would want that.”
Hanna chuckled, as if she thought I was joking.
It was the first time I had seen her smile in person, not just in photos.
“So, what’s your answer…”
“…I’ll do it. And there’s one more thing I want to say.”
“What is it?”
“Um… my reaction might be weak.”
After much deliberation, Hanna accepted my revenge.
At the same time, she told me her secret.
“I’m actually frigid.”
“…”
She was frigid.
Perhaps the reason she avoided skinship with her boyfriend Tae-yang was because of her frigidity.
That was certainly a difficult story for me.
But I also had a secret that I hadn’t told Hanna.
“Don’t worry about that.”
I won’t have sex unless you want me to.
The reason I set this condition wasn’t because I was good with women or because I was exceptionally good at foreplay.
If that were the case, my girlfriend wouldn’t have run off to Kim Tae-yang in the first place.
But a window that suddenly appeared in front of me was giving me confidence.
[Hidden quest completed.]
[Show the video directly to Kim Tae-yang’s girlfriend]
[Acquired Minor Saliva LV.1 skill.]
I had acquired a skill.
I’ll have to see if frigidity wins or if my skill wins.
