Chapter 540 – Review
Hello, readers. This is Song-a Song-ah.
How to ruin a romantic comedy is also complete. I’ve been serializing it for almost two years, but it feels kind of refreshing.
I was happy that there was so much interest in the work. It was my first time receiving fan art… Even thinking about the emotions I felt back then, I still feel excited. Thank you.
It feels like the ending was a little rushed, but I think the timing itself was done well.
It seems appropriate to solve the remaining elements through abduction.
However, I would like to rest a bit before writing the spin-off, and in the meantime, I am contemplating whether to write the previous magical girl spin-off, the work that is currently only registered, or a completely new work.
As for new works, recently I had to watch NTR movies and corruption movies, but my heart started pounding when I saw pure love movies.
This would mean that pure love has fallen… It is truly unfortunate.
So, I want to write a pure love story, but since my favorite genre is NTL (NTR), I’m currently weighing what to write.
If it is written, the number of serial episodes will not be as long as the previous work or the current work.
In the case of pure love, I want to write something that is bright and sweet, and warms the heart, rather than something 19+.
I would like to write a fantasy story with the royal subjects of a sports story with soccer, pure love, childhood friends, or an arranged marriage.
On the other hand, in the case of NTL (NTR), I am attracted to things that are more immoral, spicy, and highly corrupt than I can imagine.
The reason I put parentheses and write NTR is that I wanted to write in the third person, so there would be a lot of scenes from the perspective of the person being taken away.
The genre I debuted in was martial arts, so I have thoughts about martial arts as well.
But I can’t write well. I have to say that I don’t have the bold and stylish writing skills that are typical of martial arts… It’s sad.
I’m also thinking of a light harem or everyday martial arts style.
There are a lot of novels I want to write.
Enough of the ramblings, I think the How to Ruin a Love Comedy spin-off will be in an omnibus format rather than a long story like the main story.
However, just because it is an omnibus does not mean that each side story is short.
I think it would be more accurate to call it a picaresque rather than an omnibus.
The side story I most want to write about is something a reader left a comment about at the beginning of the series
I thought it would be very interesting to write this a little prematurely from Miyuki’s point of view… I liked the idea, so I’ve been thinking about writing it ever since I saw the comment.
However, I am not confident in using the first person female perspective and am very bad at it, so I am contemplating writing it in the third person.
In addition to this, I’m thinking about the 5Ps, later stories, as well as the school nurse, the baker, Kana, the mothers of each heroine, and even Tetsuya’s family, but I’ll have to think a lot about whether to use them all.
I think it would be better to match the atmosphere of the work for the side stories, so I think I should cut out some things that are likely to be difficult.
Lastly, I am uploading an illustration that I wanted to use as an illustration but was unable to include.
This is an illustration I commissioned when I remembered the episode between Hiyori, who was coldly dressed in winter, and Matsuda, who was worried about it. It’s been sitting there for almost several months.
I couldn’t figure out the right time to insert the illustration, so it ended up being aborted. I thought about including it when I wrote the side story, but since the heroine walkthrough was completed, I decided it wouldn’t fit, so I’m uploading it like this.
Thank you for loving How to Ruin a Romantic Comedy.
