Chapter 23 – Side Story 2
Fitzgerald Aris
The Fitzgerald family was a historic family. A family that ruled southeastern Ireland, they escaped the British colony during the Great Irish Famine and immigrated to the developing United States.
Just as they had escaped the great famine, settled down, and begun to exert some influence, the American Civil War broke out. The Fitzgerald family felt that farming was no longer possible during the Great Irish Famine. Since he liquidated all of his family’s assets and started manufacturing in the northeastern United States, he naturally came to support the United States in the north.
Fortunately, the support for the Northern Army was successful, and the United States of America in the North was victorious over the United States in the South in the Civil War, and the Fitzgerald family gained significant profits. After that, he ran several businesses, but after a long period of ups and downs, he was now running only one company called Taron.
As the Fitzgerald family is a historical family of noble origin, many traditions and interesting legends have been passed down, one of which is that the Fitzgerald family is descended from fairies.
Other people would just say, ‘What an interesting story about fairies, huh?’, But everyone in the Fitzgerald family believed the story to be true. This is because every generation or two, a child with truly special abilities is born.
The fairy child of this generation was Fitzgerald Alex, the eldest son of the Fitzgerald family. He has the ability to easily avoid danger while running with an ability called fairy step, which has made him the best running back in the current college football league.
Fitzgerald Alex was a scat back (rushing style while avoiding defensive tackles) style running back and was nicknamed “Ghost” Because he was as difficult to catch as a ghost. Due to the nature of a running back whose prime is short, he is not usually selected in the top round of the draft, but Fitzgerald Alex was evaluated as a talent who was sure to be selected in the top round. That’s how outstanding he was at his ability to walk like a fairy.
In fact, although the Fitzgerald family did not know it, there were two fairy children in this generation. The other one was Fitzgerald Alex’s younger brother, Fitzgerald Aris. Fitzgerald Aris also knew that he was a fairy child.
Fitzgerald Aris’ innate fairy ability was Gruagach’s eyes. Gruagach was a beautiful female fairy with blonde hair who was said to bring good luck if brought into the house. Fitzgerald’s gifted Grouagach’s eye was the ability to measure the value of an object through light.
Fitzgerald Aris, who grew up in an environment with many precious heirlooms and antiques, thought the world was brilliant. He was Fitzgerald Aris, who did not know his abilities at first, but gradually felt that what he perceived was different from others and checked his family’s books.
In doing so, he found out that he was a fairy child born with fairy abilities, and that those abilities were the Eyes of Gruagach. However, he did not tell anyone about this, because in the family’s books, there were several stories that the eye ability of Gruagach was a powerful ability and that the children who were born with that ability were short-lived because the greedy adults of the family overworked them.
However, the choices made by the children with the eyes of the short-lived Gruagach were remarkable: they liquidated their family assets just before the great famine and went to Ireland or the United States during the great famine, they chose manufacturing when they were considering plantations and manufacturing, and they chose manufacturing in the United States during the Civil War. Supporting the United States instead of the Allied Powers was all due to the advice of the child with the eyes of Gruagach.
Fitzgerald Aris, who read the book, did not want his life to be short, so he refrained from using Gruagach’s eyes as much as possible. Fortunately, because it was an ability that could be turned on and off at the owner’s will, Fitzgerald Aris usually lived with Gruagach’s eyes sealed.
When Fitzgerald Aris was in middle school, he first went to Japan to see his mother’s family. He heard that his mother’s family ran a leading Japanese company, so he was curious to see what it was like, so he checked it out with his own eyes.
At this time, Fitzgerald Aris saw the strongest light he had ever seen. It was the light of his maternal grandfather, Taira Danzo. Gruagach’s eyes not only saw the intensity of the light, but also felt the personality of the light if it was a person, allowing him to know what the owner of the light had.
His maternal grandfather, Taira Danzo, had an overly cold glow. If Fitzgerald Aris were a little younger, he would have cried out of fear. He was that cold-hearted.
In his second year of high school, he went to Japan again due to family matters. Fitzgerald Aris was afraid of his grandfather, so the day before he went to his maternal home in Chiba, he recklessly left the hotel in Tokyo he was staying in and wandered around the streets.
While wandering around aimlessly, I came across a group of thugs in an alley. Although Fitzgerald Aris didn’t know it, they were a group called Dragon Head, which was famous for its poor quality in the area. Just before she was caught and gang-raped by several people, two men appeared. There was a very handsome Japanese boy and a black boy, and together they took care of nearly 20 bullies. In particular, the handsome boy, despite his appearance, showed a talent for stunning fifteen people on his own.
“A woman shouldn’t come to a place like this alone. “I’ll take you to the taxi stand with me, so don’t even go into these back alleys.”
“Haha! “Brother, you can clearly tell I’m an American woman. Can you understand me in Japanese?”
“You idiot, are all white people American? “There is also Europe.”
The two of us had a strange skit-like story while leading the way to a taxi stand. Fitzgerald Aris could speak Japanese, but he thanked me without any awkwardness and took a taxi back to the hotel. When he got back to the hotel, he should have at least asked my name… I thought about this and wondered what the boy’s light would be like, but it was already too late by then.
He came to Japan right after graduating from high school. His desire to meet the boy again coincided with his decision to work as a model at his aunt’s Tyra Entertainment.
While working like that for nearly a year, I heard that Taira Saburo, his maternal uncle, had died. Although they were not very close friends, it was the first time a relative had died, so Fitzgerald Aris was quite shocked.
Fitzgerald Aris called the recently deceased Tyra Saburo a liar uncle because every time he saw Aris, he said he had a son around your age. Even after asking his mother, she was told that his uncle had no children, so he called his uncle a liar.
It was my uncle who I had such fond memories of. Since the entire Fitzgerald family except himself was in the United States, Fitzgerald Aris attended the funeral alone, and there he met the handsome boy who had saved him. He even turned out to be his uncle’s son, whom his uncle had kept talking about.
“He’s lucky too. “Because in an instant, I became Tyra’s direct descendant.”
Someone spoke in a disapproving voice, but Fitzgerald Aris could not hear the words. He was lucky that he was. After all these years, he met the boy he had always wanted to see. Fitzgerald Aris could not bear it anymore and saw the light of Tyra Ryuta through Gruagach’s eyes.
It was brilliant. Although the light was not as big as Taira Danzo’s, Taira Ryuta’s light was brilliant and warm.
“Are you a little handsome? “He looks like a Korean Wave idol.”
“Your sister is pretty too. “He looks like a Hollywood actor?”
I was very happy to hear that she was pretty. But the unfortunate thing is that he remembered Ryuta Taira, but Ryuta Taira did not remember him at all. Then there would be more to talk about. Still, we can start building memories from now on.
A week later, it was the day to pay respects to her maternal uncle’s grave, as was the Japanese custom. But somehow, within a week, Taira Ryuta grew taller and bigger and became more handsome. His cousins suspected he had had plastic surgery or body modification, but no. Gruagach’s eyes could detect plastic surgery or body modifications, but Tyra Ryuta had none of that. Rather, the light became stronger and more brilliant in just one week.
After visiting the shrine, while moving together to the hotel his parents had booked, it was Fitzgerald Aris who was looking up marriages between cousins in Japan on his phone. Fitzgerald Aris was a native of New York, a state that permitted intermarriage between her cousins, so she only had to check in with Japan.
‘Do! Lol…’
Her mood was dreamy. As the Fitzgerald family itself came from an aristocratic family, they did not have much objection to the marriage between her cousins. Fitzgerald Aris said she was already far ahead of herself and was thinking about how many children she would have.
