In fact, The Yogurt Lady was a novel written without a plan. My only plan was to write according to my thoughts and mood each day.

I quickly realized that this was the wrong method. The side sources grew, and the central story began to falter. I didn’t have enough time to write, but I still wanted to continue the series, so I typed on the keyboard as much as I could. The more it happened, the more the work became damaged.

From the beginning, I had no intention of pursuing a mainstream genre or following the style of popular novels. I just wanted to write something that I would enjoy writing, that readers with similar tastes would enjoy reading, and, if possible, that it would be different and unique.

The yogurt lady felt that these basic goals had been lost. It would be difficult for me to judge solely on the satisfaction of readers or the uniqueness of the work. However, if I could no longer find enjoyment in the process of writing and reading the work, then I decided that there was definitely a problem.

I should have started with the framework of the work faithfully from the beginning, but if it was determined that there was a problem in the middle, I should have taken sufficient time to fix it, but it was my fault for not doing so.

Due to my lack of ability and reckless planning, I lost the motivation to write my work, so I abandoned serialization for nearly a year and concentrated on other things. The yogurt lady was left without notice for the rest of her life.

I feel sorry and dishonorable to the readers who waited for the series to continue and encouraged its resumption.

Still, I didn’t want to quit writing novels completely. I had a desire to write, and I also felt very sorry to the readers who read and supported my short work.

Although not right now, I would like to write about Yogurt Lady again if there are readers who want to. Since I have been in the position of ignoring her for a whole year since her first work, I cannot say things like ‘please continue to pay attention’. I will stay in a corner and write quietly.

In the meantime, I plan to publish a collection of short stories titled ‘Choose Next’ from time to time. The serial schedule is expected to be irregular, but I plan to use it as a continuous writing training for myself.

From now on, we will prepare step by step and come back with better works.
