Chapter 56 – Episode 8-6
On Christmas Eve, Junwoo went to the coffee shop in front of the company where Seongtae worked.
I sat at the window seat overlooking the building entrance and sipped hot coffee. Seongtae would soon come out through that door.
Office workers on their way home from work began to fill the once deserted streets. In order not to miss Seongtae, Junwoo strained his eyes and glared out the window.
After a while, Seongtae, looking very stylish as if he had poured some kind of oil on his head, walked out while looking at his cell phone. Junwoo quickly emptied the remaining coffee, scratched his groin, and chased after Seongtae.
The streets were crowded with couples, families, and friends who came out to enjoy Christmas. As white snowflakes began to flutter gently, people welcomed a white Christmas with happy smiles.
‘Why is it snowing?’
For Junwoo now, his eyes were just an obstacle blocking his vision.
Easy, easy, easy – Junwoo walking zigzag among people was clearly a sight for anyone to see.
But how embarrassing is that? Jun-woo thought he could just sit on the street and poop in order to catch the crime and force Seong-tae to give up Seong-ah. No, poop is a bit like that, even pee.
Seongtae went into a small tavern in the alley behind Office. As I snooped through the window, I saw Seong-ah sitting at the corner table and Seong-tae sitting across from him.
A preview of the psycho bitch’s revenge. Cheating dad. Seongah’s number found on the cell phone.
The puzzle had already been put together, but I couldn’t believe it when I saw it with my own eyes.
The two of them laughed haha, wondering what was so good about it. When I thought about Mi-jeong eating dinner alone at home, I felt embarrassed, and I hated that devil bitch who was trying to ruin someone else’s family.
Junwoo opened the door and entered the tavern. Noisy people. Loud music. Greeting from a lady who says welcome. I couldn’t hear everything. All he could do was walk towards the 20-year-old adulterous couple holding his hands tightly.
“Uh. Junwoo?”
The first person I recognized was Seong-ah.
“Seongah, what are you doing here? Oh, by the way, I came out because I had plans with my friends. But on a day like today, it was very difficult to get into the bar, so I was spreading out and looking for seats.”
Okay, it was natural. This seemed like a pretty good excuse for an excuse I came up with on the spot.
Seongtae’s surprised face became thoughtful.
“Son. No, do you two know each other?”
“She’s Seong-ah, who tutored me. Sohee’s daughter. How could you not even see her face?”
Seongtae glanced back at Seongah.
As expected, my father didn’t know. That’s right, that woman is Go Seong-ah. Okay, now that the punch is definitely in, it’s only a matter of time before things end between the two.
Jun-woo believed that all he had to do was watch Seong-tae clean up Seong-ah and watch the psycho bitch turn away in anger.
“Oh my, how can I do this… Was it Jun-woo’s father?”
Damn, you’re so good at acting. You knew everything and approached it on purpose!
He wanted to scream, but that wouldn’t have helped. I will punish you just by looking at me with contempt.
Junwoo sneered and glanced at Seongah.
Seongtae is genuinely embarrassed and doesn’t know what to do, and Seongah acts surprised, wondering how such a coincidence could happen. The sight of the two was truly spectacular.
“Junwoo, let’s talk for a moment.”
“Eh? With me?”
Junwoo’s eyebrows rose. Why should I talk to that girl? Even though I was puzzled, I was pushed by Seongtae, and we went out of the bar together.
“Junwoo.”
“Eh?”
“It’s a secret from mom. “Understand, right?”
“It’s a secret? That person is Sohee’s daughter. “I will only keep what has happened so far a secret, so get it sorted out quickly.”
The thicker snowflakes fell even harder. Junwoo suddenly gasped as he saw his father’s eyes flickering through them. Are you sure you won’t clean it up?
“Junwoo, I’ll tell dad everything openly. At first, I really didn’t know that person was your tutor, Go Seong-ah. But I really fell in love. “I can’t even remember the last time I felt such a hot emotion.”
“Dad!”
“I am also a man and a person. If I lose this love, I think I will regret it for the rest of my life.”
“Dad, are you crazy?! Then are you going to divorce Mom?!”
Seongtae seemed to think for a moment. Oh my, why am I worried about this question? Of course, I have to say no!
“No. “I won’t divorce.”
Phew~
“Instead, I will never let my mom find out. So, please cooperate too.”
The psycho bitch really bewitched my dad. How on earth did you do that… Ah, yes, yes. She understood a little because she remembered herself falling for Seong-ah’s temptation. But not like this!
“But this isn’t it. I was caught cheating on my son. Are you asking me to keep my mouth shut? “Dad, are you out of your mind now?”
“Hey, Junwoo. I understood you. My dad understood that you were dating your mom’s friend. But why? “Can’t I?”
“Omg-! Dad, did you know? “Am I dating Sohee?”
“There are rumors all over the neighborhood. How can you not know? Mom also said it. Since the two of you are getting along well, I want her to pretend not to know and move on.”
“But this isn’t it. Dad has a family! “If you don’t want to break up, I’m going to tell everything to mom!”
“I can’t help it. In the end, it’s divorce…”
“Oh my God!”
Junwoo felt like crying. He thought that all he had to do was capture the scene and reveal Seong-ah’s identity, but Seong-tae’s reaction was truly unexpected.
At that time, Seongah opened the door and came out of her tavern. Junwoo gritted his teeth at the sad expression.
“If I had known it was Junwoo’s father, I wouldn’t have met him from the beginning… I’m sorry. “I’ll just leave.”
An abomination. Go! Hurry up and go!
However, contrary to the cry in Jun-woo’s heart, Seong-tae caught Seong-a.
“Seong-ah, I didn’t know either. But our love can’t end like this. I’ll explain it well to Junwoo, so stay with me. Yes?”
“But. Ugh… I feel like I’m committing a sin…”
Even if you don’t know someone, a sin is a sin! Why are you making such a fuss about acting so well?!
“Junwoo, please. “You didn’t see anything today.”
“Aw~ Really! I wasn’t going to bring this up, but Seong-ah intentionally approached my father. Do you somehow understand? He said he would take revenge on me for not accepting him. Does this make sense? “I’m a complete idiot!”
“I understand your desire to say that. But please understand Dad’s feelings just a little bit.”
“No, it’s real! Fact! Huh?”
“Ugh… It’s all my fault. “I just have to leave.”
Seongtae catches Seonga turning away again. Junwoo jumped up and said he was going crazy.
“Seong-ah, don’t worry. I’ll solve everything. “No hardship can stop us.”
“Seongtae… Tah~!”
Seongtae hugged Seongah, who was suddenly in his arms.
“Under.! Everyone is crazy.”
Junwoo could no longer think of a way to break up this crazy couple.
Junwoo returned home and didn’t say anything to Mijeong. Looking at his father’s condition, it was obvious that this would lead to divorce.
“It’s Christmas Eve, do you have any plans?”
“Uh, I’m not feeling well today. “I want to rest at home.”
I guess your mom knows that you’re dating Sohee. But what should I do? She already broke up. Since Sohee didn’t seem to say anything, should I tell her? Oh, I don’t know. Whatever happens, happens.
I didn’t want to think about Sohee or Seongtae and Seongah anymore. I just wanted to leave alone.
Mi-jeong thought as she watched Jun-woo helplessly entering the room. Will the fight with Sohee last long? Still, it would be a bit unfair to intervene in the name of mediation.
Mijeong, who was sitting in the living room, called Seongtae. Seongtae did not receive it.
When I turned on the TV, colorful Christmas special programs filled the screen. Unlike the people on TV who all looked happy, Mijeong stared at them expressionlessly.
The air in the house was dark and heavy, as if it had been a long time since the family shook their butts after grading Junwoo’s college entrance exam just a month ago.
The new year has arrived.
Jun-woo and So-hee waited to hear from each other, hoping they would call at least once, but no one was willing to approach them. The thought that it was really the end gradually took root in both of their minds.
Seongtae and Seongah continued to meet without Mijeong’s knowledge. In the name of becoming a college student soon, Junwoo’s allowance went up significantly, but he was not very pleased.
Neither Yunji nor the female owner of the bar stopped looking for Junwoo, and there was no reply from Hyeoncheol, who should have received the letter.
Depressed feelings gave birth to more depression, and before he knew it, Junwoo’s heart had turned into a huge swamp, and there was not a single day when he was happy.
Junwoo felt that he was sick of this neighborhood.
I wrote the college entrance application with a feeling of self-destruction without even discussing it with Seongtae and Mijeong. All of them were local universities. Unknown universities that are not even national universities.
If you find out later, you’ll probably be in an uproar, but that’s something to think about later. Anyway, I prepared several excuses, such as if my grades were better than expected, wouldn’t it be better to get a scholarship and if I regret it, I would consider transferring?
Anyway, that’s for later. I just wanted to go to a place where I didn’t know anyone.
Thinking that I would be leaving here soon, I looked around the neighborhood again. I walked through alleys that were nearby, but I didn’t go to often, and quietly looked at each and every little thing on the side of the road.
I felt strange. It was definitely a street I saw every day, but it felt like I had traveled to an unfamiliar place.
Around evening, I found Yunji sitting in a coffee shop. It seemed like she was enjoying a date with a handsome man in a suit.
‘Ugh, okay. ‘Meet a good man and live well.’
Teacher Yoonji, who once fell in love with her beauty and was threatened with attempted rape, allowed us to experience a fantastic threesome, and then separated me and Sohee while trying to have Sohee all to herself. I will now forget everything, both good and bad.
I was watching Yunji with the expression of someone who has attained enlightenment and was about to turn around when I saw a familiar face inside the coffee shop.
Mungyu still had the gorilla-like face and short hair, but his color had improved somehow.
‘Why is Mungyu here? Have you quit your job in Sokcho?’
Even though he was said to have reformed, he was still an awkward opponent, so I hurried my steps, and a strange sight caught my eye.
After receiving three drinks from the counter, Mungyu went to Yunji’s table and sat down.
The three of them chatted comfortably as if they already knew each other well.
‘Do you know Moongyu? Blind date spot? Is Teacher Yunji planning to have a threesome with two men this time? ‘What is it?’
I was curious, but I didn’t really want to go in and ask.
From a distance away, Junwoo just stood dumbly and looked at them.
