Chapter 0 – Fortune Tellers Cannot See Their Future.
Those who see the future. There are always clichés for those with prophecy or foreknowledge abilities.
You can see the future of others, but you cannot see your own.
Or that you can see it, but you can’t escape that fate no matter what you do.
Personally, the latter is a little scarier.
The former live under the same conditions as others, so there is nothing to be afraid of.
In the case of the latter, even if you know what will happen to you, you have no choice but to sit still and accept your fate.
So I’m more afraid of the latter.
Is there anything more terrifying than a life in which the future you see cannot be changed?
