## Chapter 31 – No Mistaking the Seed # 3
“My Lord, shouldn’t we help those people?”
Number 25 asked, pointing to a person collapsed in a dark alley between buildings. Anyone could tell they were in an odd state. Their eyes were glazed over, and saliva dribbled from their mouth. Their clothes were loose, and a tattered tank top was all they wore, exposing their skin.
But Aser didn’t even glance in that direction.
“Looks like they’re doing drugs in broad daylight. Trash who don’t even have the will to face reality and live properly. This place hasn’t changed a bit, then or now.”
Number 25 subtly looked up at Aser’s face, noticing her tone was sharper than usual.
A straight, unsmiling line of lips, sharp eyes devoid of laughter, and a constantly furrowing brow.
She seemed quite different from the Aser he had known, creating an unknown distance between them.
She was indeed the one who gave him light, but he could definitely feel that the Demon Lord was indeed a Demon Lord – realizing this, he could sense the difference in their status.
Yes, they were never meant to be together from the start.
He was just a slave who listened well, a slave who could provide sexual release when desired. He just needed to stick to that role.
He had already crossed the line enough with his escapade with Charlotte.
Thinking that way made him feel much more at ease.
He turned his gaze away from Aser’s face, and just as he was about to look ahead again.
Something soft and squishy blocked Number 25’s view.
Number 25, who hadn’t noticed the person rapidly approaching from directly in front, couldn’t dodge in time and was buried in the woman’s chest.
“What the hell, you little punk?”
At the annoyed curse from above, Number 25 stepped back and repeatedly bowed his head.
“Oh, I’m sorry…!”
Before Number 25 could finish speaking, a hand reached out, and before Aser and Number 25 could react, his body was lifted into the air. He never imagined he would meet someone on the street who could lift a person with just one hand by grabbing the collar of their shirt.
Only after rising to near the woman’s face could Number 25 see her face clearly.
Long but unkempt red hair. Orange eyes glimpsed behind sunglasses. Overall, she was a strikingly beautiful woman.
Above all, what captivated Number 25’s eyes was the overwhelmingly large chest that could be seen with just a slight downward glance.
The woman sensed Number 25’s gaze and smirked.
“Even in this situation, you’re looking at my chest. Is that how someone who’s sorry acts?”
Aser’s anger flared at the woman’s handling of Number 25, but she soon realized who the person holding Number 25 was and shouted in surprise.
“Orca!?”
The woman called Orca smiled at Aser and waved cheerfully.
Aser didn’t return the greeting, glaring at Orca with eyes full of wariness.
“Why are you here?”
“Why am I here? That’s a little disappointing, isn’t it? I just came to see a friend after a long time.”
She was confused. This person shouldn’t be here. Aser ran a hand over her face as if trying to wash it, and said to Orca.
“First, put down my slave.”
Unexpectedly, Orca readily released her grip on Number 25 at Aser’s words.
Number 25, whose neck had been slightly strangled by the shirt, dropped his head and coughed violently. He still felt a tingling sensation on his neck where Orca had grabbed him.
Aser approached Number 25, knelt down, and checked his condition.
“Are you okay?!”
Number 25, who was holding his neck and coughing, nodded as if to say he was fine.
Aser stood up and turned her venomous gaze towards Orca.
But Orca, as if proving that her story about coming to see a friend wasn’t a lie, continued to speak amiably despite Aser’s fierce expression.
“It’s been so long, hasn’t it?”
No answer came from Aser’s tightly closed lips, but Orca, as if she was having fun, continued to talk on her own.
“The 7th District is still the same, isn’t it? It hasn’t changed at all from when it was the final destination for dropouts. You clearly said you would change it, didn’t you?”
Orca’s words didn’t contain any particular malice, but the person listening felt quite unpleasant.
Aser, still furrowing her brow, pressed her temples and sank into thought.
Getting out of this street was the top priority now. Once Orca had caught her, it was best to consider the patrol with Number 25 over.
“Let’s talk at the castle first.”
With her signature finger snap, the three of them instantly returned to the Demon Lord’s castle.
The maids who were weeding in the yard looked terrified at the sight of Orca appearing with Aser. Number 25, who had no idea who Orca was, didn’t yet understand their reaction.
Aser sighed deeply, as if the ground would cave in.
“Number 25, take this one and go to the reception room first.”
The reception room was definitely the leftmost room on the 3rd floor. He was a little scared to have to go alone with Orca, but he bowed his head and replied.
“Yes, I understand.”
Orca’s stride, following behind Number 25, was quite wide in proportion to her height, so Number 25 had to walk faster than usual to avoid being caught up to her. It felt as if a monster was chasing him from behind.
Orca casually asked Number 25, who was walking ahead.
“Are you a guy?”
Number 25, not feeling the need to have a long conversation, replied curtly.
“Yes.”
“That’s interesting.”
“What is?”
Orca didn’t answer any further.
“You don’t need to know.”
Then why did you ask in the first place…? Number 25 swallowed his complaints inwardly.
Number 25 opened the door to the reception room and stepped aside to guide Orca inside first.
Orca, arriving at the spacious reception room with a clear view through the large windows, took off her leather jacket with a familiar gesture and threw it to one side, then sat cross-legged in the center of the wide sofa.
Just as Number 25 was about to leave after closing the door, Orca called out from inside.
“Hey, sit next to me.”
“I have to go see the Demon Lord….”
“I said sit down, didn’t I?”
Orca slightly lowered her sunglasses and glared threateningly with her amber eyes.
Unable to withstand the pressure of her gaze, Number 25 hesitantly sat down, leaving a space between them.
“Come a little closer, I said? Like this.”
Orca smiled, revealing her sharp fangs, and pulled Number 25’s shoulder, yanking him towards her.
Before he could resist, Number 25 was pulled by Orca’s strength and ended up in her arms, completely confused.
‘Why, why is she doing this?’
“What’s wrong, are you scared?”
Number 25 somehow regained his senses and broke free from Orca’s arms, creating distance again.
Orca didn’t pull Number 25 towards her this time, but smirked and suggested.
“Oh, now that I think about it, you were just looking at my chest earlier, weren’t you? Do you want to touch them?”
After finishing her words, Orca slightly pulled her white t-shirt forward, revealing her deep cleavage.
Taken aback by her unexpected action, Number 25 hurriedly turned his head and blurted out a nonsensical excuse.
“Y-You should only do that with someone you like…!”
At those words, Orca burst into a fit of laughter. She never expected there would still be someone with such a pure mind.
But that didn’t necessarily lead to good results.
Orca, who had been maintaining a cool smile throughout, suddenly became serious and opened her mouth.
“You’re saying something boring, aren’t you? You can touch someone’s chest even if you don’t particularly like them, right? Well, that’s how all guys are, I guess.”
Aser and Charlotte were decent by comparison. Number 25’s head instinctively warned him that this woman was dangerous.
He was slowly moving his butt away from Orca when she roughly grabbed Number 25’s shoulder.
Number 25 let out a groan of pain as her nails dug into his skin and her grip felt like it would break his bones.
They say that when a person is really in pain, they can’t even scream properly, and that moment had come.
“I was trying to hold back, but I’m getting a little angry, you know? If you’re Aser’s slave, shouldn’t you at least show some respect to me, her friend?”
At her chilling voice, Number 25 felt his heart sink.
“T-That’s….”
Orca had already come right up to Number 25.
“Before Aser came here, I could have fucked a guy like you three times over. Want to try it out?”
As if to prove those words right here, Orca was unbuckling her pants. This wasn’t a bluff or a threat. If she wanted to, this woman could treat Number 25 like a rag in the reception room.
Number 25’s face had turned pale, and his body was trembling like an aspen leaf. He was scared. He had never felt such fear before.
“Just kidding… you little punk.”
Orca stopped unbuckling her belt and slapped Number 25’s back hard enough to leave a red handprint, laughing heartily.
The tingling pain in his back was one thing, but his heart, once it started racing, wouldn’t calm down. He couldn’t tell what was a joke and what was serious.
He had never seen this type of woman in the Demon Lord’s castle before.
If he had to compare, she felt similar to the slave trader Ogre.
If he talked to her any more, he felt like the trauma from those days would come back. Number 25 kept his mouth shut and maintained a silent fear with a still pale face.
Orca didn’t show any particularly unusual behavior after that. She was just trimming her nails or yawning widely.
Just as he was suffocating, Charlotte and Aser finally entered the reception room. Feeling like he was seeing a savior, Number 25 unconsciously stood up and approached Charlotte.
Charlotte slammed the coffee cup she was holding down in front of Orca with a loud thud.
Anyone could see it was an unfriendly gesture, but Orca accepted even the hostility mixed with the favor with a smile and picked up the coffee cup.
“Oh, thanks. You didn’t spit in it, did you?”
Charlotte replied curtly.
“Even your kind of rogue doesn’t deserve my spit. Why did you come here anyway….”
Just as Charlotte was about to say something more, Aser cut her off.
“Charlotte, stop.”
“…Yes.”
If Aser hadn’t stopped her there, Charlotte would have definitely hurled harsh insults at Orca.
“Let’s sit down for now.”
At Aser’s words, Charlotte and Number 25 sat opposite Orca, and Aser took a separate seat.
In the awkward silence, Number 25 watched Orca sipping the coffee Charlotte had brought and cautiously whispered to Charlotte, who was sitting next to him.
“Who is that person?”
Before Charlotte could answer, Orca put down her coffee cup and looked at Number 25, saying.
“Why are you two whispering? If you’re curious about me, you can just ask me directly, right?”
Charlotte frowned and replied in a prickly tone.
“Why would he ask you directly? I have no intention of letting someone like you talk to our slave, not even a little bit.”
“Why are you reacting so sensitively? Did you two have sex or something? Or are you dating?”
At those words, even Aser, who had been silent until now, glanced at Charlotte. He had been secretly uneasy about Number 25 spending most of his time with Charlotte recently.
He was trying to act okay on the outside, but he couldn’t hide his anxiously trembling fingers or the shaking leg under the table.
Charlotte smirked at Orca’s words and lied nonchalantly.
“How could I touch a slave that hasn’t even been with the Demon Lord yet? If you’re going to talk nonsense, why don’t you just leave?”
Aser closed her eyes tightly and let out a sigh.
Aser, who had taken Charlotte’s blatant lie at face value, turned her gaze to Orca with a brighter voice than before.
“Orca, formally introduce yourself to my slave. Otherwise, I’ll kick you out of here right now.”
“Well, if you put it that way….”
Orca poured the remaining coffee into her mouth in one gulp, revealing her fangs and grinning.
“You probably know my name by now, and for now, I’m in charge of the Demon Lord of the 6th District. I hope we’ll see each other often, so please take care of me.”
