Roughly 500 prosecutors, the largest assembly in the country, were filling the seats from the front. They were all well-aware of the purpose of this gathering, having heard ad nauseam about the recent celebrity sex bribery scandal and the controversy surrounding Prosecutor Lee Na-eun’s ostracization.
Naturally, Prosecutor Lee Na-eun was the talk of the town.
Everyone was whispering about her behind her back, and with hundreds doing it, it was quite noisy.

Prosecutor Lee Na-eun chuckled inwardly. It was so absurd that she couldn’t help but laugh.
“Therefore, the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office has decided to establish a special investigation team to restore our tarnished honor. The location will be the Ganghwa District Prosecutors’ Office. The special prosecutor will be…”
The chief prosecutor looked at Prosecutor Lee Na-eun.
“Prosecutor Lee Na-eun of the Criminal Affairs Department 3.”
“…”.
Everyone murmured, with expressions that said, “Here it comes.”

A Terminator was the most powerful authority a prosecutor could wield, a weapon and system that allowed them to dispose of targets on the spot without a court ruling. Of course, there were various regulations and enormous political burdens attached, but the fact that a prosecutor could judge and sentence made them virtually omnipotent.
The fact that this was being given to the special prosecutor meant that this investigation was not just a time-killing exercise they were being forced into, but that they had a firm intention to achieve results.

Prosecutor Lee Na-eun felt the gazes upon her becoming strange and quickened her pace. With all her staff dead, she had a lot to do.
