Chapter 99 – Episode 99 – A Trip Of Extraction (2)
The contract was successfully concluded.
A two-story restaurant and former counseling center.
The monthly rent was steep, but that could be covered with stocks.
And even if it wasn’t stocks, according to what I discussed with Delia, the cafe’s sales alone would be enough to generate a profit.
“Wow. You’re going to make a cafe here?”
“Yeah. Good spot, right?”
“Yes. Wow, it looks like you’re going to make it really big. Wow, there’s a second floor too…”
On Tuesday, I resolved the wind issue, on Wednesday, I signed the contract for the cafe location, and on Thursday, I met with Dajeong, bought her a lottery ticket, and went on a light date.
When I say date, it was nothing special.
Since it was a weekday, we didn’t watch a movie or anything, we just walked around a bit and I showed Dajeong the cafe I was going to open.
It was still just a dusty place, but it was soon to be transformed into a stylish and luxurious space.
“So, I’m going to set up an office here.”
“An office?”
“Yeah. When I say office, it’s just a personal workspace for me to work alone…”
Dajeong, looking at the empty counseling space on the second floor, asked me.
“What kind of work are you going to do? Aren’t you going to be the cafe owner?”
“I am, but I’m going to leave all the work to the staff. I’m just going to play here.”
“Wow, you’re a bad person.”
“Playing is a joke, I have other things to do. Like solving problems at the cafe, or trading stocks.”
When the topic of stocks came up, Dajeong’s eyes sparkled.
“Oh. Stocks…! It sounds amazing. I want to try it too.”
“Don’t. You’ll be in big trouble if you do it without studying.”
I didn’t study either.
I’m just going where the Fortune Tracker leads me.
“Humph. You always say no…”
“Even if you don’t do stocks, I’ll give Yujeong a good salary, so don’t worry.”
“Hehe. Okay.”
I stroked Dajeong’s head, and she smiled happily.
“More importantly, how about it? You can come hang out often when the cafe opens. It’s close to your house, so you can study or draw here. I’ll even give you free drinks.”
“Wow. Really? Free? Won’t I be a bother…?”
“No. I think I’ll work better if you’re here. Your sister is going to work here too, so you can see her often.”
“Wow. That’s good.”
After luring Dajeong in, we left the space where the cafe would open.
We ate ice cream desserts together nearby, and then I sent Dajeong home.
She was sad when we parted, but when I said we could see each other a lot after I moved and opened the cafe, she quickly smiled again and went home with light steps.
Watching Dajeong’s back as she ran home, I took out my phone and sent a message to Yujeong.
[Me: (Photo)]
[Me: (Photo)]
It was a photo of Dajeong and me, taken very close together. The shy blush on Dajeong’s cheeks was the highlight of the photo.
[Yujeong: ……? What’s this all of a sudden?]
As soon as the notification popped up, the ‘1’ disappeared, and I got a reply from Yujeong.
I replied to her right away.
[Me: Just because. I’m treating Dajeong well. Hehe. Jealous?]
[Yujeong: Yeah. Good. That’s great.]
[Me: Haha. Be honest. You’re jealous, right?]
[Yujeong: What are you talking about…;; Keep treating Dajeong well. And don’t ever mention what happened that day! Got it?]
My favorability with her was even higher than with Dajeong now.
I bet she was feeling a flutter while texting.
[Me: That’s a bit of a dilemma. Should I just tell her~ or not~]
[Yujeong: Ugh, seriously ㅡㅡ]
[Me: If you go on a date with me next time, I won’t tell her.]
This time, I got a reply after about 30 seconds.
[Yujeong: You’re not going to do anything weird, are you……?]
I am.
[Me: No, I’m not. What are you talking about?]
[Yujeong: ……Okay.]
And with that, Thursday ended satisfyingly.
“How should we do this room?”
“Ah, please make this room completely soundproof. Is that okay, Sujeong?”
“Yeah! Haa~. To finally get a room with perfect soundproofing…! I love you, Jinhyun!”
“Hey, hey. Everyone’s watching.”
On Friday, I decided on the interior design of the house we were moving into with Sujeong, who was taking a break from streaming, and Delia.
I asked them what rooms they wanted to use and assigned them accordingly. Sujeong decided on a room on the third floor, and Delia decided on a room on the first floor.
Since the sleeping rooms were all black rooms anyway, the assigned rooms were all going to be transformed into functional rooms.
Sujeong’s room was for broadcasting.
Delia was planning to grow a lot of plants, so she asked for a room suitable for growing plants.
Especially since Delia’s room had a passage leading to the sunroom, she was very happy.
When she held my hand tightly and said, “Thank you, Jinhyun-nim,” with a shy face, my heart couldn’t help but flutter.
There was no need to touch the functional rooms, so I asked for the remaining empty rooms to be decorated in the most stylish and sophisticated way possible.
If Dajeong or Yujeong were to move in later, I could buy them the furniture they wanted then.
Originally, I was thinking of assigning a room to make a karaoke room, but since there was a separate party room for playing in the basement, I could just install a karaoke system there.
Since it was an interior designer introduced by Sujeong’s father, I could trust them enough to leave it to them.
“Wow. You’re going to open a cafe here?”
“Yeah. It’s nice, right?”
“It’s great. It’s so big.”
After showing Sujeong and Delia the place where the cafe would open, I entrusted the interior design of the cafe to them as well. Since I had already planned the concept, I was able to explain in detail what it would look like.
“Do you want to play pool again today? Let’s have a nice dinner too.”
“Yeah. Sounds good.”
“What about Delia?”
“I would love to, of course.”
Delia’s physical abilities were almost cheating.
If she showed her true skills, the game wouldn’t even be fair, so it seemed like she was letting us win a little.
Still, Delia seemed to be having a lot of fun on our date together.
Friday night also ended peacefully.
On Saturday, I went on a date with Dajeong and Yujeong.
I was secretly worried that Dajeong might complain about Yujeong being there, but she just smiled happily.
I didn’t bother Yujeong much until we parted that day.
She seemed to think I would definitely bother her, so she was restless all day. I used that against her and openly flirted with Dajeong.
Don’t worry, Yujeong.
After the cafe opens, I’ll secretly tease you to your heart’s content while Dajeong is watching.
And so Saturday passed, and on Sunday, I did nothing and just lazed around.
Of course, I didn’t forget my daily routine of having sex with Sujeong, and completing my daily magic quest by practicing the Thousand Mile Qi Gong.
And finally, the long-awaited Monday morning dawned.
“Are you all ready?”
“Yeah. We just have to go, right?”
“You have to bring your passport and ID.”
“Hehe. Of course, I brought them.”
Sujeong smiled brightly and patted the light bag she had slung over her shoulder.
From Monday to Friday.
Today was the day we were going on a 5-day, 3-night trip with Sujeong and Delia.
The day after I asked them to decide where to travel, Sujeong and Delia had gathered their opinions and told me where they wanted to go.
Thanks to that, I was able to book the hotel and plane tickets with ease.
We had to take the airport bus at 6:50 AM today to arrive at the airport two hours before the flight’s departure.
It might seem too early, but it’s better to go early and wait comfortably than to be late.
“Delia, are you ready too?”
“Yes, Jinhyun-nim.”
Delia also smiled with a bag on her shoulder.
I had created a fake identity for Delia.
I had considered finding a broker and paying them to launder her identity, but there was an item in the Heroine App store that could create a new identity.
Delia said that there was no need to give her an identity, but she needed an ID when I bought her a car later, or when she took her driver’s license test.
It’s better to have an identity than not to have one when doing anything.
Besides, it was only 1000 coins!
Well, it automatically records the data in the database, making perfect identification possible, so I trusted that the Heroine App item would do its job well and made a purchase based on trust.
Delia’s identity was set as a Korean girl who had graduated from elementary, middle, and high school through the GED, with her parents having passed away when she was young.
Her birthday was set to the date I first summoned Delia.
I apologized to Sujeong for initially telling her that Delia was my cousin, but she just laughed and said it was okay, as if she had already guessed.
Delia’s name was set as Chun Ari, taking my surname Chun and reversing Ria to Ari, but Sujeong and I decided to keep calling her Delia as we always had.
That was what Delia wanted too.
With Delia’s identity, she was also able to get a passport.
Delia’s passport was issued on Friday when we were doing the house and cafe interior design and going on a three-person date with Sujeong.
‘Actually, if the goal was just to go abroad, I didn’t have to go this far.’
If I used my abilities to cheat, I could have left Sujeong and Delia in the black room and gone abroad alone, then summoned the black room portal.
Then I could have brought them abroad right away, only paying for my own plane ticket.
‘Well, they would be illegal immigrants.’
But the reason I decided to go on an overseas trip with Delia and Sujeong, taking the airport bus and plane, without worrying about illegal immigration, was to fully enjoy the feeling of traveling.
Travel is about enjoying the feeling rather than efficiency.
Back in elementary school, my dad used to take me, my cousin, and my cousin’s friend on trips every vacation.
Looking back now, I think I enjoyed sitting in the back of my dad’s car, talking and reading comics or playing games with the three of us, more than the trip itself.
It might have been because I was young, but the reason I have such a strong perception that the journey itself is also part of the trip is because of those old memories.
‘I wonder how Eunju and Harin are doing…?’
We used to play together a lot until elementary school.
Just having a cousin of the same age made us very close. Eunju was my cousin, and Harin was Eunju’s friend.
Well, Eunju went to study abroad from middle school, and naturally, I grew apart from Harin, and now we don’t even contact each other…
I only occasionally heard that Eunju was doing well overseas.
[The next stop is Incheon International Airport Terminal 1.]
The bus’s announcement came on. I looked at Sujeong and Delia and said.
“We can get off now.”
“Yeah. Hee. I’m excited.”
“Didn’t you travel abroad often?”
Sujeong shook her head at my question.
“Umm, no. I think I only went twice on school trips in high school?”
“Really? What about with your family?”
“My dad took me and my mom on trips in Korea often, but we never went abroad. This is the first time I’ve gone separately.”
That was quite unexpected.
“Then let’s have fun.”
“Yeah!”
Sujeong, Delia, and I got off the airport bus.
While others were taking their luggage out of the bus trunk, we just went straight into the airport.
Our luggage was just the small bags we had on our shoulders.
Although I didn’t use the trick of taking Sujeong and Delia out of the black room, I decided to use the trick of taking the luggage out of the black room.
It’s better to travel light.
“Delia, what do you want to eat?”
After getting our tickets at the airport, I asked Delia.
“Hmm, I…”
Delia glanced at me, then turned her head and pointed to a Western restaurant.
