## Chapter 175 – Dancing With Orcs
“Hey, sleepyhead, wake up. You said we were leaving this morning?”
I opened my eyes to see Winia in her robe, looking down at me. Was it morning already? She must have woken up first, shaking me awake while I was still half-asleep.
“Ugh, huh…? Is it morning already? Gotta get up…”
“Here, drink some water.”
“Oh, thanks.”
Winia handed me a canteen. I took it without thinking and drank, then remembered the terrible things I’d done while drunk last night.
What on earth did I do?
A wave of guilt washed over me.
“Hey, Winia…”
“Yeah? What is it?”
“About yesterday… that…”
“Yesterday?”
“…I’m sorry for acting like such a jerk. I think I was just drunk.”
Even though Winia had tried to punish me, well, it was Winia, so it was a level of eccentricity I could understand. Normally, I would have just brushed it off. But my self-control had vanished with the alcohol. Forcing her like that… she must have been hurt.
Lining them both up and going at it like that…
I was truly trash, Kim Kat.
I deeply regret it.
But what happened after that?
I couldn’t remember anything. My back was sore, so I must have done something intense. But my last memory was lining up Winia and Cloudie and starting… then it was just gone.
Blackout.
I tried to remember, but… it was impossible.
My mind had gone blank.
“Hehe. What are you talking about, you damn sleepyhead? Well, I guess I was a little harsh too. I got an apology from you, so it’s fine. You thought about apologizing first thing in the morning? How thoughtful!”
Winia, for some reason, was more energetic than usual, ruffling my hair.
Come to think of it, her skin seemed to be glowing… What kind of wild stallion side of me did my memory-wiped self show that made Winia, who I’d been trying to win over for so long, suddenly become so affectionate?!
I felt a chill…!
The possibilities of the man I could be were terrifying!
Mara Papayas!
“Hey, wake up that sister of yours too.”
“Huh? Oh.”
Cloudie was hugging my waist with both arms. I stroked her hair and touched her ear to wake her, and she soon moaned softly as her eyes slowly opened. Orange eyes like topaz, with vertical pupils. Just like a cat.
“Katt…”
“Whoa.”
Cloudie opened her eyes and suddenly sat up, giving me a surprise kiss. Ugh… in the morning? I accepted it for now, but Winia forcibly pulled Cloudie away.
“Hey, sis, take it easy.”
“Hmph… I want more.”
“No way. Get up. And me too, sleepyhead.”
My lips were forcibly stolen again.
This time by Winia.
Winia mixed her tongue with mine for a moment before pulling away… saliva stretched between our lips before breaking, looking incredibly lewd. Damn it. I was getting hard again.
“Okay, okay. That’s enough. Come on, get up. You said we’re leaving this morning. It’ll be late if you don’t get ready now.”
“Yeah… Winia, but aren’t you being too nice today?”
“Got a problem with that? I can’t win either way, huh?”
“Ah, no. Not at all. I just like it.”
“…”
Anyway, I went into the shower to wash up. Cloudie was being extra clingy today too. No, she always sticks to me like glue, but today it was even worse. What on earth happened? How did Winia, who had been so prickly, become so gentle, and how did Cloudie get so horny?
“Hey, Cloudie. What happened? Honestly, I drank so much that I barely remember anything after a certain point. Tell me what happened.”
I asked Cloudie, who had followed me in.
“Huh? You don’t remember?”
“Yeah, why is Winia being so nice?”
“Heehee… you made us cry so much, and you forgot?”
“Made you cry! What happened!”
Cloudie laughed gleefully and reached out to stroke my junk.
“With this… ah, Katt. Yesterday was so good. Do you love me?”
“Uh… I love you too.”
“You were like a wild beast. Should we just rest today? Looks like you’re still hard? Hehe, can’t you get enough even after all that? You’re so energetic.”
I didn’t know what was going on, but good was good. I had protected the smiles of Cloudie and Winia, so hadn’t I fulfilled my duty as a stud?
“But, um. Can you refrain from saying weird stuff all of a sudden? Everything else was great, but I lost my focus when you suddenly started spouting nonsense… What was with the UFOs and the Vietnam War?”
What the hell were UFOs and the Vietnam War?
I said that?
“What’s that?”
“That’s what you said.”
“I don’t know… I don’t remember.”
I washed up and got dressed.
I put on my new pants and cotton t-shirt, then donned my new quilted armor and sword belt. Then I put on my breastplate and boots. I finished off with greaves and gauntlets.
Fully armed Kim Kat.
Winia, who had been waiting, opened the door.
“Hey, sleepyhead. You said you were going to hunt orcs today, right? Hmm, honestly, I don’t know if you’re good enough, but seeing you take down that giant kobold guardian, I guess you’ll be fine.”
“Really? Right. Winia, have you ever hunted orcs?”
Come to think of it, orcs.
Winia probably knew the most about orcs. After all, she was a more experienced adventurer than me. While I was struggling as an F-rank, she must have gained a lot of knowledge using her skills as a mage.
“Sometimes. They paid a lot during the extermination season… They look just like you, which makes them a little cute.”
“What?”
“I said you look like shit.”
“Hey, why are you saying such harsh things all of a sudden!”
“Just kidding. It’s so cute when you get mad.”
She was really messing with my head.
Anyway, I went outside. It was morning. The time I promised to meet Copson. I didn’t know what I said, but it seemed like we were going to hunt orcs.
Winia seemed fine, and Cloudie had only killed desert orcs, so she seemed satisfied that she hadn’t killed any green orcs, either. She explained that killing new things was always welcome.
“Hel-Kan always encourages the slaying of new beings.”
“That’s so brutal.”
“It can’t be helped. Shurdic was like that.”
“You said it was a hard place to live, right?”
Endless deserts and wars between monsters and dark elves over oases. It was such a harsh place that the belief in such a warrior god was widespread. As we chatted, Copson waved his hand in the distance.
“Barbarian! You’ve come! I’ve been waiting!”
“Did you get home okay last night?”
“Thanks to you! I’m in your debt… But isn’t that Winia?”
“Oh, I’m his friend. Hi.”
Copson looked quite flustered to see me with two women. Come to think of it, I had consulted him about my worries about having two women. But he immediately told me to screw off.
Copson pulled me aside and whispered in my ear.
“Barbarian? What’s going on? Could it be that the two women are…”
“Well, yeah. Just like you imagine.”
“I can’t believe it…! Something must be wrong with this world!”
“I think so too.”
“Y-you bastard barbarian!”
Too bad, Copson.
You should get a girlfriend soon too.
But when I looked at him, I didn’t think he could even get a female friend unless he did something about that chin… Well, it can’t be helped. There’s friendship that’s better than love in this world, right?
“Um… Anyway, barbarian. I’m thinking of heading out now… Is that okay?”
“What are you asking? I came out here to work today.”
“If that’s the case, here. I have something I prepared today.”
Copson cleared his throat and took out a paper scroll from his chest. A map? He unfolded the scroll and showed it to me.
“I went out at dawn and got a map of the area. This is the Dodens barony… can you see it?”
Copson, who was next to me, pointed with his finger, but I couldn’t really understand what was what. I wasn’t a professional map reader. But I had a rough idea of what was what.
“Oh. This is the Dodens barony?”
“That’s right. I heard that, for some reason, orc tribes started attacking villages owned by Baron Dodens, and they’ve already raised an army to defeat them. But the orcs are familiar with the forest, so they’re causing a headache by running away here and there.”
Copson, who was bright about information, began to explain fluently. Whatever else, this guy had very sharp ears in this area.
He seemed to have put all his points into information gathering and sociability. This could also be called a talent, but anyway, he was going to be a success.
“So, between Isvante and the barony. Somewhere here there will be orc stragglers. Even if you catch just one, it’s 1 silver. Well, orcs are smart, so you might be able to loot some good stuff. They also like to decorate themselves with shiny things, so you might be able to get quite a bit of cash.”
Orcs decorate themselves with shiny things?
I called Winia over and asked her about it.
“Sometimes. They like to show off. Just like you acting like a crazy bastard, they act like crazy bastards too. They make necklaces out of silver coins.”
Another bombshell.
Winia said it as if it were nothing, but a necklace made of silver coins had the power to literally break the world.
“N-necklaces made of silver coins!”
“Silver amulets!”
Copson and I climaxed at the same time.
“Damn it! Let’s go!”
“I’ll go right away! Winia! And Cloudie…? Is it okay to leave right now?”
“Yeah. Let’s go.”
Cloudie answered,
And so we left the city gates. Silver… necklaces! My heart felt like it was going to explode! Were these orcs actually treasure goblins?! My surprised heart wouldn’t calm down.
“Sleepyhead, you only make friends with guys like you.”
Winia came over and whispered to me.
It was frustrating, but this time it was true.
“A necklace made of silver coins…!”
“Hehe. You really like that. Of course, it’s not common. You’re not common in this world, are you? There are guys like that in about that proportion.”
“Why do you keep equating me with orcs!”
“Because it’s cute.”
We went outside the city gates, and a well-maintained road stretched out. The road was like this until halfway, but it stopped after a certain point. Now, where should we start searching?
“Hey, sleepyhead. Ask your friend for the map.”
“Huh? Okay.”
I went to Copson, who was in the lead, and got the map. He readily gave it to me because Winia said she would take a look. Winia was the most experienced among us.
“Hmm… Orc stragglers. They can’t beat the soldiers. They’ll get hit and run away as they please… If we go in a little and search near the valley, we should find them. They’ll set up a base near the water.”
Winia began to talk like a really smart mage. Certainly… I trusted her as much as her chest size. She even seemed to have memorized the map after looking at it briefly, and told me to take the map back.
“Hey, Copson. Winia says we’ll probably find them if we search near the valley.”
“The valley. As expected of a mage. But barbarian. What’s the reason? I’m serious. Won’t you tell me your secret? What do I have to do to get a woman?”
“First, work out and pump up your muscles. Then the women will follow.”
“So that’s it…!”
Honestly, even if I were a woman, if I saw my strong body, I would definitely fall into a charmed state in less than 3 seconds. The wild scars all over my body, as if my face and body had been stabbed, were a kind of bonus.
I was an attractive man.
Well, if Copson just built up his muscles, he could somehow become a macho man.
“You could register with the guild. They’re offering a discount on the entrance fee at the martial arts guild.”
“A discount… Well, that’s attractive, but where would I get the money? I’ll take the money to the arena and the bar when I get it.”
“That damn arena… Oh, right! That Durvan bastard! Have you seen him?”
“I haven’t seen him yet. I haven’t seen him lately.”
I was in the lead with Copson.
And behind us were Winia and Cloudie.
I chatted with Copson about this and that while guarding the surroundings, and Winia was in the back, nagging Cloudie and directing us. After walking for a while, we found a downhill path leading to the valley.
