“Couldn’t it be?”
Once I heard the name, it was a product that gave me a strong feeling that I could draw screen tones with a pen.
But I do know one thing similar to that, and that’s the pattern brush I use when painting digitally.
As the painting moved to digital, it became possible to draw a certain pattern as it is, rather than a general brush, and these are called pattern brushes.
Simply put, the shape drawn is like a special magic brush.

She took out a piece of paper, put a screentone pen on it, and drew a line.

It was clearly drawn in a straight line, but I could see that it was moving while drawing a specific pattern like a pattern brush.
Although there are slightly different designs when moving fast and slowly, and even depending on the direction of movement.
To be honest, as soon as I saw it, I was shocked that I could use pattern brushes, so I couldn’t say anything.

“There aren’t that many types out yet, so those five are probably all there are.”
However, I don’t think it’s possible to make and apply it right away like the pattern brushes I know, and each pen has a pattern that has been set one by one since it came out.
In this case, I have to make a new pen for each pattern, so I don’t think I can easily make it like Screentone.
But even if that’s not the case, it’s a bit thrilling that tools like this are starting to come out.
‘What?’
First of all, I decided to buy all of them, and simply tested them one by one, and the feeling was very unique.
Certainly, if you paint it like coloring, it feels like you have painted a specific screen tone, so the name screen tone pen suits you.
However, the way it was implemented was different from the pattern brushes in digital that I know.
Every time I paint, I get a strange feeling that the ink sticks to the lines I have already drawn.
Because of this, even if the pattern is drawn wildly, the pattern is connected stably and a plausible thing is completed.
It seems to be a feature created to implement that function, but if you draw a sketch rather than a pattern, the line will bounce in a very strange style…
‘Do you have a feeling?’
The unpredictably protruding and sticking picture gave off a much more natural and mysterious feeling than I thought.
And that feeling was very close to what I needed when expressing fire in Hwashin Passion.
I sighed in relief at the thought that I might have finally found a solution.
Wow, this works out in a way I never really thought of.
After the date that day, I came back to the villa, tested it right away, and was so moved that I almost shed tears.
Of course, it would take some time to get used to, and there were a lot of parts that jumped out so it felt very strange.
As much as that, the result was more fresh and plausible than anything I had ever seen, and I was impressed.
“This is not a problem with the fucking paint part, it’s a problem with the line part.”
Rather, the most appropriate feeling was to use a light screen tone and a slight combination of a screen tone pen.
Obviously, while holding the feeling of flame, the characteristics of each color are visible at a glance.
Even though there is no color, you can tell which character’s fire it is just by looking at the picture, and it makes you feel the character’s personality or fighting style.
The yellow flame of Citrinitas, the word is a flame, began to be drawn as close to a spark as if some kind of electricity was flying.
The green flames of Viriditas began to be expressed as flames that resemble living plants growing like vines.
Finally, Rubedo’s red flames were painted with flames like a flowing liquid, like a whale swallowing anything nearby.
“Is this really good?”
The flames of albedo, which used to be too white and empty, giving a different feeling of emptiness.
Just like Nigredo, who was so black that he felt as though the book itself was about to be eroded.
It felt like each color brought out its own characteristics very well, so admiration began to come out.
‘It’s a method where you have to draw a new line from the beginning, so you have to draw the line again from the beginning because you have to take out the flame, but… But this is very satisfactory.’
Actually, that part can be done again, but this feeling was not something that could be realized by hitting it with time or anything.
Since it’s a line anyway, I could draw it the same way, but I couldn’t even come up with this idea in the first place.
Even if I had thought of it, I would have gone crazy and quit after drawing one by one in that complicated way, as it is not copying the same thing differently from screen tones.
“Anyway, where did you find it?”
I started concentrating on my work, clearing my mind as much as possible.
Now that Rosaria has finished her manga, she’ll probably want to hang out with me for a while.
The worse it gets, the less time I have to work on, so it’s a headache in many ways.
Isn’t it polite to the reader who has been waiting for my manga to be finished and submitted as soon as possible?

The cover illustration of Albedo, who burns white fire and fights against erosion, came out well.
The cartoon part of the main story, which was a headache for drawing battle scenes because of the fire, was also successfully resolved.
Because the manuscript was successfully completed, he had secretly returned to the capital today, lying to Rosaria about her family affairs.
“Oh, are you here?”
“It’s been a while. Master, isn’t it a bit late?”
“No. I thought it was rather fast? Of course, considering the current workshop is empty, it’s just the right timing.”
“Do you think we can go into production right away?”
“Yes. However, the number of reservations is high, so considering the time required for production and travel time, the date should be set later.”
“It’s unavoidable.”
Anyway, I feel very happy that there are so many reservations to say that.
Well, I don’t think I would have been able to stand it if I had a limited promo card.
It’s very painful to know that I will never be able to buy those things later.
“And I’m sure everyone tried to sell a little too much?”
“Yeah?”
“For those who purchase Hwashin Advent, we advertised that there is a reservation that only those who have Hwashin Advent can participate in. Maybe because they thought it was a benefit of the product they bought, most of them made a reservation before going.”
Having said that, I think that may have been the reason why reservations were so successful.
The condition for ordering a new limited edition product is to own the previous work?
People who naturally owned the previous work may feel that it is a loss if they do not reserve.

While looking at the cover manuscript, she tilted her head, and she asked what is the part of the picture on her left that looks like a band.

“Do you remember that in Advent of Hwasin, the picture on the side of the cover was raised so that it could be seen?”

“I made a picture that goes with that. Later, when you gather all the back stories, you can see the cover picture of Hwashin Advent on the bookshelf.”

In this way, you can distinguish the order in which you should read the works without having to put numbers in the works.
It’s nice to see when you’ve gathered all the books to the end and put them on the bookshelf.
I was anticipating that I would be able to implement the cover of the first volume right next to it because I thought it would end with a total of 5 volumes with the expected continuity and length.

The material of the promo card is also material, but the thickness and size were just right, so I was satisfied.

I went to the place where pictures, not cartoons, were exhibited, and there were a lot of works with SD characters drawn.
This time, it meant Rosaria’s painting, not me, was changing the market completely.
