## Chapter 222 – Side Story 2 – How to Subdue the Source of All Evil (1)
***
The Hero Alliance welcomed a new year after a considerably eventful one.
They had suffered greatly, experiencing two invasions and even the collapse of their headquarters, but with the arrival of the new year, those wounds were healing at a surprisingly rapid pace.
They had successfully eradicated the so-called “rotten elements” within the Hero Alliance, and Soo-ah firmly established herself as the second Supreme Commander of the Alliance.
Initially, the citizens and Alliance staff were skeptical of the young Supreme Commander’s arrival, but after preventing two large-scale battles and quickly leading the reconstruction efforts, her reputation improved.
However, if there was a problem, it was that she was far too busy.
“Haa… I thought I was finally getting some breathing room.”
Arriving at work earlier than 9 a.m., the typical starting time for office workers, was a daily occurrence, and she often skipped meals and worked late into the night.
Completely removing those who had corrupted the Alliance was necessary, but because so many people were connected to those forces, there was a shortage of personnel to do the work.
“Just how much did they mess things up…?”
The immediate issues of rebuilding the Alliance headquarters and establishing a new work system within the Alliance were pressing, and dealing with the mess left behind by the executive director and his faction was proving difficult.
– Knock, knockㅡ
“Come in.”
The one who knocked on the office door and entered was none other than B-Class Hero Wind Trooper, Sung Ye-eun.
Until recently, she was a hero with the ability to control wind, but after forming a connection with Utopia during the Alliance raid, she took on the role of Soo-ah’s secretary.
“Supreme Commander! Here are the new materials to report.”
In fact, there was no real reason for her to quit being a hero and become a secretary, but she readily accepted Soo-ah’s offer to become her secretary.
She had enjoyed feeling a sense of accomplishment while working as a hero for several years, but it seemed she had sometimes felt that the hero work itself wasn’t a good fit for her.
“This blue file contains newly identified illegal research facilities of the executive director’s group, and the yellow file contains the payment list for the headquarters reconstruction costs.”
“Those are the things I asked Ye-eun-ssi to do. Thank you.”
The reason Soo-ah chose her as her secretary was her diligence.
She didn’t have experience in secretarial work or office administration, nor did she have a great academic background, but Ye-eun had consistently received high scores for diligence in the regular hero ability evaluations.
As if Soo-ah’s judgment in choosing Ye-eun as her secretary and colleague was correct, she quickly adapted to the work in just a month or two and began to show results.
“Is there anything else you would like to instruct me on?”
“Ah… not right now. I’ll let you know if there’s anything I need.”
The two had only started working together recently, and Soo-ah was a bit shy, so there was still some awkwardness between them.
However, Ye-eun, with her bright personality, was proactive in approaching her, and Soo-ah also liked her diligent and cheerful nature.
“Then, I’ll be on my way! Please call me anytime if you need anything.”
“Yes. Thank you.”
– Thumpㅡ
As Ye-eun, having finished her report, was about to leave Soo-ah’s office with a bright smile, she collided with someone entering the office.
“Ouch…? Siyoon-nim!”
The one who collided with Ye-eun as he tried to enter the office was none other than Siyoon. He caught Ye-eun, who was about to fall from the collision, by the waist and helped her back to her feet.
“It’s been a while. I heard you’re working as a secretary these days.”
Ye-eun had been temporarily manipulated by Siyoon with a temporary corruption command during the first Alliance raid, but she doesn’t know that Siyoon was the one who committed that act against her at the time.
After the incident was resolved, Soo-ah placed Siyoon in a nominal high-ranking executive position, and Ye-eun recognizes him as her superior without any suspicion.
“I don’t think I’ve seen you for a while… where have you been?”
“Ah… I couldn’t come to the office because I was on a short business trip.”
In fact, Siyoon’s purpose is to casually visit Soo-ah’s office from time to time, but he can’t say that honestly, so he makes up a story to explain.
“I see. Then, I’ll be going now. Good work!”
Ye-eun, as always, gave Siyoon a cheerful greeting and left Soo-ah’s office as she had intended.
“Would you like me to make you a cup of coffee?”
Perhaps because she has become accustomed to Siyoon suddenly visiting the office, Soo-ah gets up from her seat and walks to the coffee machine.
“It’s okay. I didn’t come to hang out today… I came to see that girl.”
“By ‘that girl,’ do you mean Jia?”
Today, Siyoon came to Soo-ah’s office not to hang out as usual, but to see ‘Kaiser’ Jia, who has been imprisoned since the second Alliance invasion.
“I think it’s about time… to meet her in person and talk.”
“After all… we can’t just leave Jia like that forever.”
Soo-ah seemed to become gloomy when Jia’s name was mentioned.
Jia was a dangerous person who was obsessed with creating superpowers while sacrificing countless lives, and even tried to attack her own sister.
In fact, if you only consider the charges, she is a heinous villain who deserves immediate execution, but Soo-ah has been unable to execute her and has instead confined her to a detention facility.
This was due to her sense of responsibility that Jia had become corrupted because of herself and her father, and because of her memories of the harmonious and affectionate family they had when they were young.
“All of her superpowers have been sealed, so she’s no different from an ordinary adult woman now…, but the fact that she has had a negative impact on many people won’t change.”
“She has ruined the lives of so many people.”
She couldn’t just keep Jia locked up in a detention facility until she died, and she couldn’t bring herself to execute her younger sister with her own authority.
“So… I’ve come up with a method that is very much like me.”
“When you say a method that is very much like Siyoon-ssi… are you perhaps referring to… that?”
If there is one method that Siyoon would do, it would be ‘to violate, train, and brainwash.’
“If it’s okay with you, Soo-ah… I’m thinking of training that girl a little harshly. I won’t do it if you’re not comfortable with it.”
For Siyoon, Jia, in a way, provided an opportunity for him to rise to his current position, but basically, she is the enemy who plunged himself and his slaves into misfortune.
Combining revenge for himself and his females with punishment as a criminal, he was thinking of training Jia in a somewhat rough and harsh way to turn her into a sex toy.
Not a slave who receives strength and love from Siyoon like the other females, but a ‘sex toy for sexual disposal’ who is treated worse than humans or even beasts.
“If Jia can be punished even in that way… I’m okay with it. Rather, I would be grateful if you would do that for me.”
Soo-ah said that Siyoon’s proposed method would be acceptable.
If she becomes a subhuman ‘tool’ solely for sexual disposal, she thought it would be a sufficient punishment for the sins she had committed.
“Jia is currently imprisoned in a heinous villain detention facility, and Siyoon-ssi, as a high-ranking executive, has the authority to freely enter and exit that place.
It’s quite close to the temporary headquarters, so if you go there and tell our agents, you should be able to meet Jia directly without any problems.”
Soo-ah nodded as if she had decided to accept Siyoon’s opinion, and told Siyoon how to meet Jia.
“I’ll contact the detention facility in advance and instruct them to prepare a separate space for training.
If you do that, you should be able to go there tomorrow morning.”
“As expected of the Supreme Commander… your work processing speed is exceptional.”
Siyoon hugged Soo-ah tightly, who had made a big decision, and expressed his gratitude for accepting his decision.
***
The day after Soo-ah accepted Siyoon’s opinion and decided to give Jia a special punishment.
“Hoo… it really looks rough.
It means that if you make a mistake, you’ll be locked up in a place like this.”
The place Siyoon arrived at early in the morning was none other than a heinous villain detention facility.
“Then, please be careful. I’ll be waiting in front of the facility.”
With the authority of the Supreme Commander that Soo-ah possessed, Siyoon had the authority of a high-ranking executive of the Alliance, so he arrived at the facility comfortably without any problems using a vehicle belonging to the Alliance.
The agents bowed politely to him, and Siyoon nodded and waved his hand as if he didn’t dislike their respectful attitude.
“You’ve come directly from the Alliance headquarters. I received a call in advance.”
Guards wearing heavy firearms and armor and standing guard.
Knowing that the vehicle Siyoon was riding in was a vehicle exclusively for high-ranking executives of the Alliance, they immediately ran over and bowed politely to greet Siyoon.
“Since you’ve received the call… please guide me.”
“Yes!”
With the guidance of the guards, who would have been objects of terror if he had been a villain combatant in the past, Siyoon entered the heinous villain detention facility.
‘As expected… everything is thoroughly done.’
The structure of the detention facility is designed so that you can only see dark iron plates and stone walls, and even the sounds from beyond the walls cannot be heard.
All the villain inmates imprisoned in this facility live with their arms and legs bound in specially made handcuffs, and are provided with only a very small amount of food and water once a day.
“If you take this elevator a little further… you can meet that girl.”
Siyoon and several guards passed through hundreds of facilities and boarded an elevator to the underground facility where Jia was imprisoned.
‘Judging by how long we’re going down… it seems to be in a pretty deep place.’
An underground facility that imprisons particularly heinous villains among the villains who come to this facility. It is built in a very deep underground location so that even escape is impossible.
As soon as he stepped into the underground facility, which he arrived at after going down for a long time, a scene with a different feel from the above-ground detention facility came into Siyoon’s eyes.
“Unlike the ground, everything here is made of transparent glass.”
“Yes. It is made of a material that is much stronger and more transparent than the alloy on the ground.”
The walls of the underground facility are transparent but only allow viewing from the outside, and are characterized by being much stronger than the special alloy of the ground facility.
However, the guard explained that the material cost is extremely high, so it is only used underground.
“Here… is the girl the director is looking for.”
After passing a few empty prison cells, a familiar face can be seen. In that prison cell was Jia, sitting blankly with her knees gathered, as if she had lost her soul.
