If the erosion phenomenon was not stopped, monsters would appear in reality, causing casualties. Instead, if the erosion phenomenon was resolved, rewards were received.
In a way, it could be called a dungeon in reality.
For reference, when the waiting time disappears, you are automatically teleported to the erosion phenomenon. Once that notification window appears, there is no way to escape the erosion phenomenon except for special methods.
