Chapter 2002 – 2002. God’S Atlantis

Before using the power of creation, I planned to gather with the gods of Olympus and discuss things.

It seems like the situation is unfolding rather urgently… but it should be okay to spend some passionate time with the goddesses one last time.

I feel divine power from the south. And not just one, but multiple powers. Unlike the north, the south wasn’t my territory. Still, I wasn’t nervous. Focusing my eyes, I could see the gods flying in from the south.

‘They’re Egyptian gods.’

Did they come to fight? If so, I was willing to oblige. Even if they attacked in a group, I was confident I could win.

I was fiddling with Astrape when I soon released my power.

‘…They’re not here to fight. They’re being chased by something.’

Sandstorms were attacking the fleeing Egyptian gods. The Egyptian gods each tried to resist with their powers, but it was useless. They were being ravaged by overwhelming power, like humans being attacked by monsters. The more prominent gods, like Osiris, who could be considered the chief gods, were holding out somewhat.

‘Looking closely, it’s not a sandstorm, but a yellow wind.’

I could guess who the Egyptian gods were fighting. Of course, I had no intention of saving the Egyptian gods. I would watch and then step in at the right time to kill them all.

Just then, there were beings flying straight towards me.

One was a goddess with wings on her back, and the other was a goddess with silver hair and golden eyes.

‘Nike and Athena. They went south… did they rely on the Egyptian gods?’

Honestly, I was more surprised that the Egyptian gods had accepted them. Accepting gods from another world was an unusual thing.

The gods of Olympus were gathering behind me as well. The gods were gathering around me. The tired-looking gods of Olympus stood behind me, watching the Egyptian gods fighting the yellow wind.

The female warrior, wearing a helmet and holding a spear and shield, spoke confidently.

“Athena. What is the reason for your appearance now?”

I could sense the gods’ surprise. Unlike them, I remained silent. I understood as soon as I heard Athena’s words.

I looked up. The sky was breaking. That being was approaching this way. That being was watching me. Ruin was right around the corner.

The gods who felt that presence collapsed. Some were vomiting like humans, and others were crying and sobbing. There were also gods who were laughing like madmen. The gods’ minds couldn’t handle it. The only ones who were somewhat okay were the chief gods.

I detonated Astrape from within. I began to disappear, scattering my own essence.

There was something invisible.

Something was looking at me.

Returned from the end of annihilation, I frowned.

The sky was broken, and the ground was overturned.

The only one who seemed okay was Athena.

I swung lightning, granting an end to the maddened gods.

It was awful that I had to kill my own women with my own hands, but it was even more painful to see them twisted, corrupted, and trying to transform into monsters.

‘Good job. Your actions are right. You gave the gods peace.’

A voice was heard from within me.

‘Is that Zeus?’

‘Yes.’

‘I hate to say this, but was this the original trial?’

‘No. There were traitors. That thing controlled those traitors. It’s targeting you.’

‘Why me?’

‘I don’t know. It’s an entity that knows everything, so it must know something I don’t.’

‘……The other gods are going mad, but you’re not?’

‘I closed my eyes and ears to block the contamination. I’m now in the dark, relying solely on your senses. It’s only possible because you are my body now, and because this world is a world within a trial.’

Zeus soared upwards. He broke through the broken sky and flew into space. The Earth I glimpsed was being destroyed by a few giant tentacles. The owner of the tentacles was dozens of times larger than Earth. That gigantic being was surrounded by a sphere. The things that were constantly rotating and wriggling were parasites on that great being.
