## Chapter 14 – The Great Information Gathering Operation!! (1)
Another vibrant day was beginning at the academy.
That a new day was starting meant that I had survived another day, which was the best news I could ask for.
The sound that woke me this morning was the chatter of students walking to class.
Most of them were, predictably, talking about the missing Vivian.
The talk was that she hadn’t shown up in the end, and the search for her had been called off.
Of course, if they saw Vivian cooing in pleasure inside the tentacle nest under the flower bed, they’d be more than surprised, but no one would ever see that.
But, heartlessly, it seemed no one was particularly attached to the missing girl, and the conversation was already shifting to other issues relevant to kids of that age.
“What are we gonna do about the midterm exams…?”
“Ugh… seriously… the exam range is too wide again…”
Listening to the conversation of the girls walking by in their voluminous robes and wide-brimmed witch hats, seemingly aspiring mages, I was reminded of my past life and steeled my heart.
‘I used to think that if I just studied hard, everything would be okay.
But when I actually did it, that wasn’t the case.’
Back then, I was one of the top students in the entire school.
But that was utterly useless in life.
All that mattered was money.
You could earn money even doing manual labor.
But the passion and warmth in my life couldn’t be bought, no matter how much money you gave me.
Suddenly remembering what I had discovered last night, I slowly moved a leaf, carefully took out a spider leg seed from my leaf inventory, and flicked it away.
‘Let’s try it out for now…’
The seed flew through the air and rolled along the ground before getting caught on a small pebble. After a moment, the spider legs hugging the seed twitched and unfurled.
‘Yes… move…’
The spider leg let go of the seed and carefully stood up, looking around for a moment.
Then, as if it had figured things out, it dragged the seed along the ground and began scurrying forward.
It looked so much like a small bug that it didn’t easily catch anyone’s eye.
Then, it jumped and clung to the pants leg of a male student, hitching a comfortable ride.
‘Yes…!! Go, go, go…!!’
I watched the spider leg move further and further away with a satisfied gaze. Looking at the nine spider legs remaining in my leaf inventory, I began to consider what to throw next.
‘For now, it’s reconnaissance time…’
.
.
.
Welcoming Vivian back like a prodigal son, and giving her pleasure once more, I began to conduct human experiments (?) using her again.
I had created a total of ten spider leg seeds and extracted seven nearly-expired eggs.
Thanks to Vivian, who whimpered like a bitch in heat while offering her womb, I was able to reap a decent harvest, and with that, I was ready to start taking action.
The first experiment was with the spider leg seeds, which I had gathered a decent number of.
The first experiment on how to use them was, of course, performed on Vivian.
All I did was drop the spider leg into the nest and observe what it would do.
But it didn’t seem very interested in Vivian. Instead, it began to reveal a novel function.
‘Oh… I see… wireless control, huh…’
“Umph!!”
Focusing my mind, I found that my vision shifted to the spider leg’s perspective. The spider leg scurried up Vivian’s body, and Vivian looked surprised.
“Aha…!! What is this…?”
But soon, I reached her ample chest. The spider leg, still clumsy with my control, began to tap dance before rolling off her body. Vivian seemed to find it cute, picking it up and placing it back on her chest.
As a thank you, I stimulated her nipple with the sharp spider leg. Vivian let out a small moan, as if enjoying it.
“Hngh… that’s nice…♡”
I spent a long time researching how to caress her with the spider leg. At some point, the fluids flowing from Vivian’s crotch began to flow down the roots like a stream.
Just as I was wondering how much time had passed, my vision suddenly went black as if the power had been cut off, and I felt like my mind was being ejected. Surprised, I extended a tentacle and looked at the spider leg.
The spider leg had fallen off Vivian’s chest and lay motionless, like a dead spider.
Looking closer, the round seed attached to its belly was now shriveled.
‘This seed is like a battery…
The spider leg can be remotely controlled, but it has a limited battery capacity…’
The duration of that capacity was, at least for now, about an hour.
The limitations were clear, but if used well, it could become another eye for me, and in some ways, a foot.
Just in case, I picked up its corpse and carefully placed it near Vivian’s vulva. The spider leg, as if squeezing out its last bit of strength, began to burrow into Vivian’s vagina.
“I.. it’s going in…? Hngh…”
Vivian’s body twitched as if she felt the spider leg moving inside her. After a moment, she bit her lip and let out a suggestive “Ah!” as if she had felt a strong stimulation.
After a while, I watched the spider leg emerge from her vulva. The shriveled seed attached to it was now full again.
‘If I put it back in the womb, it recharges and can even be recycled…
If I do this right, I might be able to create an army…’
The spider leg’s combat abilities didn’t seem great, and I only had one woman to act as a charger, so it was a distant dream for now, but in the event of an emergency, the possibility seemed plausible.
‘I said I could grow to be over 50 meters tall, right…?’
At that size, it would be impossible to hide my existence any longer.
Even now, the length of my stem was well over 2 meters.
‘Somehow, I need to prepare before the worst-case scenario happens…’
With that thought in mind, what I was doing now was gathering information.
I thought it was important for me to find out more detailed information about Enic as soon as possible.
Of course, the information that ‘The Woman’ had given me through her memories wasn’t useless, but there were no memories that delved into the details, so I had to find the important parts myself.
Then, of course, the center of the Verdini Continent, this academy where the greatest minds of the Groden Kingdom gathered.
I was trying to find the repository of knowledge that surely existed there.
‘I’m looking for the library…’
However, one problem was that I had no idea where it was.
And that problem was proving to be a bigger issue than I had anticipated.
‘Where is it…?’
The small spider leg had a significant drawback.
It was only the size of a coin, literally a tiny spider leg, so no matter how fast it moved its legs, there was a limit to the speed it could achieve.
It was good that it had managed to cling to the male student’s pants, but of course, it couldn’t just keep hanging on.
Eventually, the spider leg came down to the ground and began scurrying along as fast as it could.
“Ahaha!! So that’s what she said, right?”
“Yuren is really too much, isn’t she? Ahaha!!”
And I also had to avoid the feet of people who occasionally tried to step on me without noticing.
In that sense, finding a library in this vast academy was quite a difficult task.
If I moved my legs too fast to try and gain speed, my legs would get tangled again and I’d start tap dancing, and I could feel the energy stored in the seed gradually depleting.
‘I do have new seeds to start with, but…
If it takes this long to get here again…’
Leaving everything to chance like this would only mean repeating meaningless actions and wasting limited resources.
The time for a new breakthrough was right around the corner.
‘There must be a way…’
