Chapter 5 – 5 – I Need Someone to Chase After the Running Guy.
Eshen woke up to the feeling of something pressing down on his lower abdomen.
I flinched and opened my eyes, but I couldn’t see anything. I tried to stand up, but my body felt very heavy.
No. Actually, I don’t want to move. It’s been a long time since I felt this stuffy yet comfortable.
The eyes are covered by something, and the body is tied heavily by something.
In the meantime, warm fingers gently press the flesh and wriggle over the entire body.
‘What on earth is going on?’
I was very surprised, but I don’t feel bad. Rather, it seems as if sincerity seeps into the muscles that have become so tired.
Eshen almost sighed from the excitement that pushed away his fatigue. I almost begged pathetically to press it more.
However, as the strong fingers gradually pushed into places they should not reach, Eshen moaned and was embarrassed.
Inside the armpit. Border of the chest. And···?
A dizzying sensation pressing down on the groin area, where the legs and abs meet.
At that moment, Eshen remembered.
Drained. Weak. A black touch that targets you when you are tired.
A teasing caress under the pretext that it was just a massage. A noose of lasciviousness wrapped around the neck of its prey.
Rumors about all the dirty tricks that porters use to sleep with women.
“This crazy porter, he’s doing such crazy things!”
Eshen, who instantly stood up and grabbed the insidious wrist, was embarrassed for three reasons.
First. The frustratingly heavy body was not actually tied down by anything. Eshen was just lying down. On a stone bed, half submerged in hot spring water.
Covering only the chest and silence followed with a towel. He was dressed like a leisurely hot spring tourist.
Second. The wrist that was grabbed did not belong to the porter. She was a friendly-looking woman.
Although her cheeks are plump, she is at an age where it is appropriate for Eshen to be called her older sister rather than her aunt.
Third. The woman who was massaging Eshen’s body did not get angry and instead comforted him and laid him down. She consoled Eshen in a foreign language he could not understand.
Eshen was more afraid of unintelligible words than the monster’s fangs. Eshen muttered, feeling depressed.
“What is he saying now?”
“Stop telling the truth and go back to sleep. “Her treatment isn’t over yet.”
Eshen flinched and she looked back. The porter’s voice was coming from beyond the wall of the sweltering room.
“A porter? “Are you there?”
“I’m telling you because I thought you might have forgotten, but my name is Tan. Why?”
“What happened? Where are we? Who is that person? “Why on earth am I getting a luxury massage?”
In the midst of her urgent questions, Eshen came to mind.
Even if you’re not in this room, as long as you’re within speaking distance beyond the wall…
“Did you even hear me making those sounds?”
Something came to Eshen’s mind that he didn’t want to think about. All the moans that were made unconsciously out of earshot by the porter.
Eshen asked despite his embarrassment. And after she asked, she realized she was even more embarrassed.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Thankfully, the porter dismissed the last question as nonsense. Eshen felt fortunate to be beyond the wall. If my red face had been caught, I would have suffocated to death from embarrassment.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about, but it’s like a hospital in this city. The person next to you is a healer. What you received is his own type of health treatment.”
“Something like a hospital? What kind of hospital is this?”
“It’s a local specialty. People who have collapsed are soaked in the healing hot springs to regain their strength. The healer there said your condition is serious.”
“···Sick? Me?”
“Overwork. You probably didn’t sleep well, and you did all kinds of missions by traveling around and sleeping on the street without a porter. You’re amazing. How can you live so hard?”
Eshen, who was a little scared, looked proud when he heard that he had worked hard.
And soon his face became sullen.
“I’m telling you this because you don’t know, but I’m not praising you. The teacher there said that you were in a condition where you would faint even if you were hit with a rubber mallet. Even though Tigris has a strong body, which is a shame. If you use it like that even though you have a strong body, you won’t be able to work at the party for long. ?”
“If you stay there and eavesdrop, you won’t be able to work as a porter for long.”
“I’m not here to eavesdrop, but to check if there’s anything wrong with your health. Just as the person over there is not the porter and that room is not the room of the porter’s lewd plot. What did you say earlier? ‘This porter bastard.’ “Did I wake up saying, ‘Who is having pervert delusions?’
While Eshen was asleep, the porter spoke with the healer about Eshen’s condition.
Eshen, who had been stabbed for no reason and felt sorry back tenfold, grunted and lowered his tail inwardly. It felt like I couldn’t win even a word now.
The healer smiled and motioned for Eshen to lie back down. But instead of lying down as he was told, Eshen stood up again as if something occurred to him.
“What about the woman I saved? Is she okay?”
“She is very safe. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries. She received first aid well and returned to her family.”
My back still stung from being hit with a stick instead of a woman my age, but it wasn’t meaningless.
Eshen, who was lying down again with relief under the healer’s touch, suddenly jumped out onto the water.
The healer maintained his smile with his superhuman patience.
“I’m so happy that I don’t have time to get a massage or something. That troll will be running away at this very moment!”
“If you’re worried about failing the mission, it’s already too late. The game was over the moment you jumped without hesitation. Rest well and think about getting ready for the next mission. The troll won’t be able to harass the people of this town any more anyway. “He must have already run away.”
Eshen’s vision turned gray.
“I am···.”
“He encountered Tigris, the strongest in the ecosystem, and he probably knows that Tigris came back alive. He probably doesn’t want to die from revenge, so he probably gave up on this town by now and left for a faraway place. I understand he wants to be promoted, but “Let’s look forward to the next mission.”
“I… I don’t have a next mission.”
Eshen’s desperate tone. There was silence beyond the wall.
After a long pause, Tan, the porter, asked.
“What are you talking about?”
—————-
Me. Professional porter Tan. Professional porter with industry credit rating A.
The virtue of this job is to share the burden of party members.
However, sometimes, a party member reveals concerns that are difficult for even the porter to support.
I learned why Eshen insisted on solo missions. The problem wasn’t just that I couldn’t upgrade to limited express.
If you fail to get a special upgrade this time, you will never have another chance in the future.
Because I would have to completely give up my current life.
‘The reputation evaluation score is so mediocre that you probably won’t be promoted. Then I have to go back to my hometown this year.’
‘Hometown?’
‘I made a promise to my parents when I became a party member. If you don’t want to stay in the arms of our tribe, become a special fighter within 3 years and raise the status of the Tigris tribe. If you fail, come back without warning.’
I am a person who lost my hometown to a monster attack. So I couldn’t understand it right away.
‘Is going home that bad?’
‘We, the Tigris, are a tribe that resembles wild beasts in many ways. The same goes for preferring a strong mate. So my parents didn’t want to send me out at first. There are so many males who want to mate with me.’
My eyesight became dizzy.
‘Then-‘
‘I’ll probably be living as a maid and nanny for the rest of my life. Following the tribe’s tradition, she gave birth to strong-blooded children to several men. Then you probably won’t be able to leave the village forever.’
Eshen Taiga said he liked the outside world. He said he loves the daily life he spends with his current party members.
She also said that she did not want to spend her life in a damned mountain valley without a flush toilet, with people who were less than a fistful of distance away from her as ‘husbands’.
The strange thing is that my speed was strangely distorted as I listened to that story.
This is not because I conclude that a different way of life and culture than my own is disgusting, nor because I arbitrarily sympathize with Eshen’s situation as my subject.
Of course, in light of universal morality, it is both disgusting and sympathetic, but more than that.
I remembered Eshen’s face trembling in pain while being held by me. Pathetic eyes, like those of a hurt and cornered cat.
I imagine Eshen looking like that surrounded by several muscular Tigris…
‘Why is it so shitty?’
As I climbed up the grappling hook, the sound of Eshen’s heart that I felt in my arms keeps digging into my memories.
I shook my head to shake off the pounding images.
It’s clear why I’m angry and why my heart suddenly starts pounding. It’s probably because I’m an idiot.
The excess energy of a porter whose thighs are only needlessly strong. And the process of growing up without a relationship that would lead to a girlfriend.
When the two are combined, an idiot like Tan Bantai is born. An idiot who even draws a picture of a cabin where the two of you can grow old together just by holding hands.
Now is not the time to be distracted by pathetic personal feelings. I am a porter hired by the party.
Isn’t a combatant in my party at risk of losing his career?
“Shall I solve it?”
A gloomy voice comes from beyond the wall of the hot spring treatment center.
“That’s not something a porter can help you with.”
“If I had a way to chase down the troll in one day, what would it be?”
There was a short silence beyond the wall. Soon, a lifeless voice was heard.
“I’m going to rip that son of a bitch apart like jerky. But how?”
I didn’t tell you how. It hasn’t been confirmed yet, so I can’t make any rants about it.
“First, make a promise. Cooperate with the teacher and receive treatment faithfully.”
“There’s no time for this-“
“-Yes. Are you going to get defeated by an enemy weaker than you like before? Wouldn’t the same thing happen if you go out in that state?”
Eshen can be heard hissing in anger. I had an ominous thought that the Tigris might break through the stone wall.
I cried out reflexively, relying on my porter’s instinct.
“If you do that, there will be no trace!”
“What?”
“If you don’t listen to me, I won’t chase you! If you don’t recover calmly, I won’t chase the troll!”
“Hey, what-“
“Use it! No!”
Write, no. It’s not like you’re scolding a cat that’s scolding you.
Eshen was also dumbfounded, so he stayed silent for a moment and then asked vaguely.
“······Is there a way?”
“Okay.”
“If I receive treatment now, will you help me catch the troll? Can you help me catch up with the guy who is already way ahead of me?”
For some reason, the voice sounds despondent. It’s not the gloomy despondency from before. It’s a childlike voice filled with anticipation of reward.
I couldn’t believe it, but I feel relieved knowing that it worked.
“I’m a level A porter with credibility. Whenever the party has no way to move forward, I always find a way. I’ll help you get ahead of him. So, I’m resting now. Won’t you feel refreshed when you kill a gang when all your fatigue goes away?”
When I heard a vague reply that I understood, I spoke to the teacher on the other side of the wall in the local language and asked him to continue.
The healer replied that she understood in a slightly prickly tone.
“Haaaaally cool?
As if he was angry at Eshen’s uncooperative attitude, the emotional massage made the patient moan louder.
A moan that evoked erotic delusions grabbed my ankle as I was about to leave. I moved my shaking body and left the place.
Me. Professional porter Tan. Professional porter with industry credit rating A.
···Maybe not class A. He may have gone through a re-examination by now and been demoted, but it doesn’t mean his skills have gone anywhere.
I was hired for a party. The party is in danger of losing a combatant.
I’m going to solve the problem with A-level skills.
————–
“The fatigue went away in just one day. It feels like I just slept all week.”
Next day. Eshen seemed much more refreshed, but at the same time a little uneasy.
“You know, porter.”
“Why.”
“The reason I didn’t want to stay here was partly because we couldn’t communicate, but also because it was too expensive. Party budgets are tight these days…”
“You didn’t want to be a bother?”
“That’s right. I guess I should say that the accounting manager is paying attention.”
Being honest means being open-minded. It’s a good thing if there is progress in your relationship with your colleagues.
A sense of pride that I never experienced with the assholes at the last party.
I showed the bill. Eshen’s eyes widened.
“You haven’t heard much, have you?”
“Three ways to avoid being hit with a bill in a local area. Learn the local language fluently. Do thorough research. And…Appropriate flattery.”
I pulled out the fee certificate to be billed to our party and handed it over to the healer who shyly collected it.
“Thank you for taking care of our party members. Your heart and beauty are just as beautiful as they were four years ago, ma’am.”
“Oh, keep your tongue smooth too. Stop by again, Tan.”
‘You are beautiful’. A secret order to avoid having to pay twice as much as you are a foreigner.
When the healer who cared for Eshen kissed the back of his hand, Eshen twitched his eyelids and was mesmerized.
“What are you doing?”
“I’m following the gentlemanly greeting style of this town. It’s a town where you can get much closer to the residents just by mentioning the good points.”
“You looked like a lump of butter that had just been thrown into a frying pan. I don’t know what you said, but the way you spoke made me want to vomit.”
“Don’t blame me, blame the people here. The culture here is just more honest than where we used to live. Let’s get back to the point. I found a way to track it.”
A bright smile appeared on Eshen’s frowning face.
Eshen asked fiercely, hitting her palm with his fist.
“After what happened yesterday, I think I can believe anything you say. So, what are you talking about as a way to expose me to that troll bastard?”
“Drake.”
“Lie.”
“You’re quick to change your mind.”
I led Eshen out of the center. Eshen followed hesitatingly and was astonished to see the 4-meter wings fluttering on either side.
“Where and with what money? Did you get a discount on this by kissing the lady’s hand?”
“I got a discount, but I didn’t spend the party money. I took it out of my wallet.”
I couldn’t help it. Because it could only be purchased with cash, not notarized.
She Eshen turned white.
“You said you have no money?”
“It’s not that I don’t have money to spend. I don’t have the money to repay. So are you going to ride it or not?”
Eshen later said: I was more curious about how they got the courage to do so, rather than where they dragged the hard-to-find dragon from.
That’s right, the drake that is now fully saddled is leaking urine on the floor, confusing passers-by.
It was as if the wallet of someone with a debt of 100,000 gold was bleeding.
“This is not at the level of incurring a debt to me. You are sharing your life.”
I grinned at Eshen who was stuttering. Inside, I was shedding tears.
Of course, thanks to the good relationships I had built up with powerful people, I was able to obtain transportation that I would not normally have been able to obtain.
But it is also true that his wallet was hit hard. The price they are offering is 4,000 won because they are friends of the Count of Alamo. Aren’t they crazy?
I don’t even know why I’m doing this. But it’s already been done.
Wouldn’t it be a loss if you don’t ride it?
“Do you want to ride or not?”
