Chapter 29 – Episode 29 Jealousy, Anger, Misunderstanding
‘Why on earth didn’t you come home last night?’
Kim Woo-bin’s heart was pounding like crazy as he sat in the classroom. Seong Hayan and Kim Woobin are childhood friends. That means we have lived in the same neighborhood since childhood.
Korean University was too far from the neighborhood where Kim Woo-bin and Sung Ha-yan lived. So, in order to go to and from home to the Korean university, I had to take the subway for about 7 hours round trip. So naturally, I had no choice but to live alone.
Kim Woo-bin and Sung Ha-yan toured real estate together and looked for a place to stay. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enter the same building together. In a one-room village, each person was able to move into a studio facing each other.
Kim Woo-bin and Seong Hayan met every morning in front of the studio apartment and went to Korean university together. After the lecture, we came together to the studio village and parted ways in front of the studio entrance.
The first day I met Jeong Ho-young. Although there was a time when Sung Hayan went home first and Kim Woobin went in later. The pattern of meeting in the morning and going to Korean University was the same. But not last night.
She received a request from Jeong Ho-young, who wanted to go on her first date alone with Seong Hayan. After Kim Woo-bin made room for her, using the excuse of her saying that he was meeting her friend. She went straight to her room.
Kim Woo-bin had no friends except for Jung Ho-young and Sung Ha-yan. So the only place to go was my room.
After making ramen and having a simple dinner, Kim Woo-bin couldn’t take his eyes off the window. This is because I was worried about when Seong Hayan would return.
At first she thought she would have dinner and be back around 7 or 8 o’clock. However, she did not return even after 9, 10, and 11 o’clock. At first she thought her first date she was just as fun as it was.
However, after 12 o’clock, Seong Hayan did not return until 1 o’clock, 2 o’clock, 3 o’clock, 4 o’clock, 5 o’clock, 6 o’clock, and 7 o’clock in the morning.
She blinked, but it occurred to her that Seong Hayan might have entered her house while she was asleep. She knew better than that that she couldn’t do that.
Why? Because Kim Woo-bin never fell asleep in the first place. She stayed up all night. She wasn’t tired at all. On the contrary, her spirit was heightened even more.
8 o’clock.
It was the time when Kim Woo-bin and Sung Ha-yan met in front of the one-room village. Kim Woo-bin waited until 8:30, but Seong Hayan did not come out.
Just in case, she went up to the one-room building where Seong Hayan lived and frantically rang the doorbell of the lake where Seong Hayan lived. But she had no answer. She didn’t come out to anyone.
Seong Hayan stayed the night away from her. From the first day of dating her her boyfriend her her her.
Kim Woo-bin went to school alone for the first time after entering school. She arrives at a Korean university and she arrives at the lecture hall. She did not see Seong Hayan or Jeong Ho-young.
‘It will come soon.’
Kim Woo-bin tried to calm his frantically beating heart and waited for Sung Hayan and Jung Ho-young to arrive. Her throat was dry.
Could it be that something is going on at Seong Ha-yan’s home? I guess something urgent suddenly came up for her? All kinds of random thoughts came to her mind.
I wish Seong Hayan had not attended the lecture today. And I wanted you to text me and tell me that something urgent happened at home last night.
However…
Sung Ha-yan and Jeong Ho-young appeared into the classroom with their arms affectionately linked. Moreover, both Sung Hayan and Jung Hoyoung were wearing the same clothes they wore yesterday.
Seong Hayan never wears the same clothes she wore yesterday the next day. He definitely changed into different clothes. He has always been like that.
It was the same for Jeong Ho-young. Who has so many sweats? She wore different colored sweats every day. But today, both of them came into the classroom wearing the same clothes as yesterday. As if I didn’t go home last night.
‘I didn’t even wear makeup.’
Fresh face.
Kim Woo-bin was Sung Hayan’s old friend. After Seong Hayan entered high school. I’ve never seen him with a bare face.
After study makeup. Seong Hayan said she always wore makeup when she went out. She even put on makeup when she was home alone on the weekends when she didn’t have to go out.
Seong Hayan went out with a bare face for the first time. It was certain. Jung Ho-young and Sung Ha-yan spent last night together.
A strong anger boiled deep in her heart, but she tried to smile and pretended not to know anything.
Whether or not you two spend one night together on the first day of your date.
‘It’s something I don’t need to worry about.’
I shouldn’t have cared, and there was no point in paying attention.
However, the anger boiling deep in my heart did not subside at all. Her anger and disappointment toward Seong Hayan soared like crazy.
‘A vulgar and lewd bitch. She opens her legs so easily to a man after less than half a day of dating.’
Her anger and her disappointment towards Seong Hayan turned into hatred and disgust. Even though she thought she couldn’t do this.
‘How much does it reveal to a man that he spreads her legs as soon as they start dating?’
That thought occurred to me automatically.
‘Now that I think about it, you said Seong Hayan confessed first, right?’
Bad thoughts continued to follow her.
‘The reason I’ve been rejecting men’s confessions so far. She was a virgin. It was because there was no man I liked. How on earth did you endure it for so long?’
All this time, she thought she knew her last name better than anyone else. But she wasn’t now.
‘A bad bitch, a dirty bitch, a promiscuous bitch, a lewd bitch, a vulgar bitch, a promiscuous bitch, a pervert bitch, a slut who is no better than a whore.’
The goodwill she had built up for her last name Hayan, quickly degenerated into hatred.
Kim Woo-bin always envied pure and clean love. And he thought of Seong Hayan as the most suitable subject.
There are children who play promiscuously even in middle and high school. Even if they are not promiscuous, they all have relationships at least. When dating, you naturally experience kissing and light skinship.
When love deepens, they even end up sleeping together. However, it was not Kim Woo-bin and Sung Hayan. Neither of them had any dating experience.
Kim Woo-bin thought that Sung Ha-yan looked like him. She thought she was seeking a love as pure and pure as her own. But she wasn’t.
It’s just that her surname Hayan couldn’t find a suitable romantic partner that she liked.
She was different from Kim Woo-bin.
She doesn’t want pure and clean love. She wanted a lustful and vulgar physical relationship. What if it isn’t?
‘That easy. It seemed like she had been waiting. There’s no way she would open her legs the same day we started dating.’
The castle that Seong Hayan had carefully built in Kim Woo-bin’s heart for over 10 years…
She began to fall apart, incredibly quickly and helplessly.
* * *
“It’s finally over! “She was so bored and frustrated that I thought she was going to die!”
When the morning lectures were over, Jeong Ho-young stretched and relaxed her stiff body.
“I know. Now, I would rather take the practical class I hated. I don’t like practical classes either. I hate theory classes even more. “It makes me wonder if I’m really a college student.”
Kim Woo-bin seemed to agree with Jung Ho-young’s words and did some stretching to relieve her stiff body.
The lecture schedule of the Hunter Department at Korea University was truly murderous. Not a freshman in college. Do you feel like you are a senior in high school?
“It can’t be helped.” Because we are hunters.”
Seong Hayan comforted Jung Ho-young and Kim Woo-bin. Hunters must enter the dungeon and fight monsters, risking their lives.
As such, both theoretical and practical classes were conducted at an intensity that was almost ignorant. Since it was a life-threatening matter, it was probably natural, but…
From the perspective of college freshmen who wanted to enjoy campus life, it was bound to be a schedule that would make them vomit.
“Not really. Let’s go get some lunch. “What should we go eat today?”
Hoyoung Jeong asked Woobin Kim. By the way.
“Let’s go together today. “I have a lunch date with a friend.”
Kim Woo-bin refused.
“Promise? You? With a friend?”
Seong Hayan asked in surprise.
“Uh.”
She slightly stiffened her face and responded as if Kim Woo-bin was displeased. Seeing Kim Woo-bin like that, Sung Hayan couldn’t bear to ask more details.
Just by looking at it, it looked like Seong Hayan was offended by his remarks. She added, “Don’t you have any friends?” She couldn’t bear to say, “Are you leaving the table so me and Hoyoung can eat together?” In the end, what is Holy White?
“Okay. Enjoy it.”
She had no choice but to say this.
“Then I’ll go first.”
Kim Woo-bin left the classroom first with a smile on his face.
“Okay! See you in the afternoon lecture!”
Jung Ho-young shook Kim Woo-bin’s hand and told him to meet her in the afternoon.
“Then shall we go for lunch?”
I asked, holding out one of her arms.
“Yes.”
As Seong Hayan, she had no choice but to fold her arms around Jeong Ho-young’s and nod her head.
‘Why is he doing that?’
Meanwhile, Jung Ho-young couldn’t help but be a bit surprised by Kim Woo-bin’s unexpected behavior of her.
‘He’s not that quick-witted.’
Moreover, Kim Woo-bin has had Sung Ha-yan in his mind for a long time. Then she wouldn’t like the idea of Jeong Ho-young and Sung Hayan being alone together. But a guy who doesn’t have any friends leaves first, saying he wants to have lunch separately with his friends?
‘Is this pure favor? Or is there another ulterior motive?’
Jung Ho-young guessed Kim Woo-bin’s intentions and headed outside the university with Sung Ha-yan.
At that time.
“Master, right now Kim Woo-bin is in disguise and following you. “What should I do?”
Jeong Ho-young heard Yoo Seo-yeon’s voice in his ears.
