Chapter 216 – Tears of Algermi
Fed up with the torture technician, I went straight upstairs and into Germi’s office.
“The torture technician is a real madman.”
“Your skills are certain.”
“It’s so disgusting.”
“Haha. That’s right. I left the papers there on the table.”
Germi, who was busy going through the papers, pointed her finger at the stack of papers on the table. I picked up the document and glanced through it.
“Perfect?”
“Of course. Natalya and I did it together.”
“You suffered.”
“Are you going to the guards now?”
Natalia nodded her head at Natalya’s question, who was sitting quietly on the sofa. Natalya pulled her body up.
“I will go with you.”
“Are you going with me?”
“Yes. There is nothing to do here.”
Natalya came over and crossed her arms. I looked inside her office, feeling the feel of her breasts being crushed by her arms.
Germi was sitting in her office chair looking at other papers, while Roin was lying lazily on the sofa. Across from him sat Thermia, sipping her tea.
“Germi looks busy… Will the others be here?”
“I have something to talk about with Danny Ahn about the factory.”
Said Thermia, sipping her tea. The old man lying on the sofa looked at me and waved his hand.
“I’ll stick by your sister’s side. Natalya and I go together.”
“Yes, Natalie. Let’s go.”
“Yes.”
When I came down with the fabricated books and documents, I saw the guard. The jailer saw me and he came straight over.
“I have prepared a wagon. Johannes put them in a cage at the back of the carriage.”
“We?”
After hearing the guard’s words, I came out of the building and there was a carriage standing at the entrance of the building. It looked just like a normal wagon, but with the addition of a steel animal cage at the back. It must have been a wagon used to evacuate slaves.
“Is that Johannes? It’s a huge mess…”
Natalya said as if she was tired of Johannes being locked up in a cage. It’s definitely in a terrible state.
“It is the end of the traitor. Just hand over this guy and these papers to the guards, and most of the work will be over.”
“Let’s go.”
When Natalya and I got into the carriage, the carriage started to move. Johannes’s enchanted voice continued to be heard from behind.
“Ugh… The ground shakes! The building moves!”
“The way you talk is like a child.”
“The torture technician definitely screwed it up.”
Infantile regression. That must be the state of Johannes now. It reminded me of the dirty figure of the torture technician. He’s a guy who’s going to lose his mind just by being next to him, so he must be crazy.
So why did you do something like betrayal?
As I was having a brief conversation with Natalya about Johannes’ condition, the carriage stopped before I knew it.
“We have arrived~”
When I got off the carriage, I saw the building of the guard.
“Coachman, wait here. I’ll be right back.”
“Yes~”
“Ugh…”
I looked at Johannes, who was locked in a cage. Drool dripping from the corner of his mouth that was opened stupidly. He hates to touch this asshole, although his hands are handcuffed and a rope is attached so he can be dragged. Enter the guards and call Trisian to take him away.
“Stop, this is the headquarters of the Westway Guard. What are you doing?”
“I came to see Centurion Denevalve Trisian. You will know if I tell you that the solstice of the black moon has come.”
When he showed his ID to the guard, the guard who was checking his ID nodded and entered the building.
Not long after, Trisian came out. He was still wearing the armor that completely covered his body, but his helmet was not on.
Trisian looked me up and down with a sullen look, then looked at Natalya by her side.
“Are you empty-handed?”
“Didn’t you think you should have bought something to drink?”
“You know I’m not talking like that, right?”
“It is in the carriage.”
“… Where is the wagon?”
“Follow me.”
I went to the carriage with Trissian. She frowned when she saw Johannes locked in a cage.
“That’s not a stupid thing to say.”
“I will~”
“So, no matter what I ask, I can’t answer anything.”
“She was in this state when I caught her running away.”
“Tsk…”
Trissian kicked her tongue at her shameless lying.
He probably intended to dig deep into the inner affairs of the Black Moon once Johannes was handed over. But I’m a shy guy who hides his face. We’re not that close yet, so let’s keep the line in moderation.
“And, this is the list and records of the ledgers and guards infiltrators mentioned before.”
“Hmm…”
Trisian, who took over the papers, licked his lips and skimmed through them quickly.
“I’m sure.”
“Did you keep your promise? Did you hand over the identity of the main culprit who committed the crime in the Black Moon, and also gave evidence of your relationship with the guards?”
“Okay…”
Trissian, who was looking at Johannes, nodded disapprovingly and dragged Johannes out of the cage.
Sooner or later Johannes will be on the scaffold. And the purge work within the guards will also begin.
I wish there was a way to make more contact with Trisian, but I don’t think there’s any rush. You have to go slowly. Slowly.
After handing over Johannes to Trisian, he returned to the Black Moon. I ran into Thermia and Roin at the entrance of the building.
“Ah, Mr. Hanseong.”
“Thermia-san. Are you leaving now?”
“Yes, when are you going back to Arpagon?”
“Hmm…”
In response to Thermia’s question, I stroked her chin. I don’t know if Elina’s research has been completed or not. But if she wants to fuck Elena and Liliana, she’ll have to go back a little early to afford it.
“Tonight or something… When Roin comes back, she’s thinking about setting off right away.”
“Come back as soon as possible.”
What? That a night without me is too long? Being lonely?
Thermia took my hand and she grinned.
“Germi, you seem fine now, but to be honest, I need Hanseong to stay by my side.”
“Ah…”
“No matter how much you hate it, family is family. Because I saw my father commit suicide right in front of my eyes. You won’t feel well. Right now, I am busy working and distracting myself, but when I have time, I will quickly become depressed.”
Thermia’s words made her feel as if she had been hit in the head with her hammer.
“While Mr. Hanseong is gone, I will take care of him as much as possible, but having the person I love by my side will give me the most energy. It would be nice if Hanseong would stay by my side, but it’s a busy time right now, so I can’t help it.”
My thoughts were too short. Germi said it was okay, so she was optimistic, and she was only thinking about my greedy affairs. She’s my girl, she says, but she doesn’t care.
On the other hand, Thermia, while thinking about work, was considerate of others.
“Then I will go to work.”
“Yes…”
She saw off Thermia and her old man and went up to her office with Natalya where Germi would be. Germi was still engrossed in her work, with her head tucked into her desk.
“I’m here.”
“Yeah, did you deliver it well?”
“Then.”
She nodded her head at Germi’s question and she walked up behind her and stroked her shoulder. The white nape of her neck was visible through her orange-colored bob. As he rubbed her shoulders, Germi made her tremble.
“Um…”
“How is it? Good?”
“What, me, hehe… Not bad, not.”
Germi grunted as she pricked up her ears as if in a good mood. Because of her disingenuous personality, she may not be able to honestly say that she is having a hard time even if she has a hard time.
What should I say? Last night, there was nothing I could do but give Germi a hug and comfort.
Because she had never comforted anyone in her life. I’m not sure what to do. However, at least now, if Germi is suffering, she has words and actions that she must say.
“What? Ah?”
As I gently hugged Germi from behind her on her back, Germi made a strange noise, as if embarrassed.
“I am always on your side. If you have any hardships or difficulties, please tell me.”
“What’s the difference if you whine in an awkward way…”
For Hergel, a girl who grew up unloved by her family became disingenuous and unable to express her feelings.
I buried my face in Germi’s nape.
“Germi.”
“… Huh.”
“Love you.”
“Yes.”
“Because I love you. I don’t want to see you sad I don’t want to see you suffer.”
“Then I shouldn’t even tell you…”
“But, I don’t want to see you hiding that any more. I hope you are always happy. I hope you have fun. I want that happiness and joy to be with me. I want to leave my mark on your life. If there is something you are suffering from, I want to solve it. I hope you can laugh with me.”
“…”
Germi said nothing.
I don’t know if my sincerity worked well. Because in all her life she had never seen anyone else with her whole heart.
Because she thought it was childish to be serious. She had never been sincere with anything.
But, at least when it comes to dealing with my girls, I want to be serious. It doesn’t matter if it’s childish.
Germi grabbed my arm, which was wrapped around her neck.
“This, stupid…”
“Germi?”
“At the outside… She stopped crying…”
Germi’s voice was full of moisture. Cold liquid dripped onto her forearms.
