Chapter 73 – New Encounters (3)
At dawn, from Celine, there was a unique, clean smell of the lakeside. Little by little, Marei closed the distance from Celine each time the clear scent tingled her nose.
“How long have you been at school? One week? Migration?”
“In this week…”
“It really hasn’t been that long.”
The senior designated as a mentor was not very talkative, but she still went around the school and explained meticulously. She was introduced to the school by a few people, but she was still unfamiliar with the school because it was so large. Of course, she came to remember the approximate location of the familiar names, but considering the gigantic size of the Imperial University, it was only a small part.
The two of them, who had been walking nonstop for about an hour, sat down on a bench set in a circle as if they had made an appointment. After a light conversation like this, the conversation flowed into class, and Celine frowned at Marey’s timetable.
“What timetable…”
Her eyes trembled when she saw the mentee’s full timetable from Monday to Friday.
Seeing Marey smile innocently, Celine lost her words. She really didn’t seem to know what was wrong. She took a careful look at her dark-haired junior looking up at her.
A key barely coming to her own lips. She was 15, she said, but she seemed narrowly above the average for boys her age. Her face reminded me of a small animal, and the cheeks that still had breast meat on her cheeks, made me think she was still a child.
“Didn’t you say you were at a school other than Welter before?”
“Yes.”
Black eyes glared at him. Celine had no idea where she came from or how she could explain it. Come to think of it, she could understand that since she had left a student in a regular school to draw up a timetable, she might have planned it this way.
She seemed to get dizzy just by looking at it. Full timetable except lunchtime. Just by looking at it, I felt the pressure that I would be squeezed to death if I continued like this for a month. She forced her blurring vision back and as she looked closely, a time arrangement she could not understand came into her eyes.
“Huh? The timetable is not by hour, but by morning and afternoon.”
“Yes? Ah yes.”
Celine put her hand on the Tuesday timetable.
“A subject usually has four or five hours assigned per week. Four hours per week is allocated for two days of two hours. Five hours is two hours, three hours is allotted two days a week. But if you look here, five hours are organized in a day. Then when you applied, you would have looked at the wrong time. The subject and the teacher are the same, but it seems like two different times were written as one… Each lecture has a designated timetable. If you chose class A, you only have to take classes on the date specified in A. One day of A’s lecture, one day of B’s lecture. It’s not like I choose to listen. I have to take only A lecture. I think we’ll have to redo the whole timetable…”
Celine sighed heavily. From her timetable she seemed to have to help herself. She is a mentor-mentee relationship that will end in a few days, but I wondered if she needed to go this far. She was right though, when she was in charge, she did her best to help. However, she received an unexpected answer from Marey.
“Ah, he said that this is a private lecture.”
“What do you mean, opening a new lecture?”
Marais didn’t know what to say, so she didn’t know what to say. It is not possible to answer that teachers who want to enjoy sticky copulation leisurely made time with young students legally under the name of class. Seeing Celine calmly waiting for her own answer, Marais sorted out her jumbled story and found a clear answer.
“They say they’re not famous these days. Teachers say that they can open additional classes in addition to the classes designated by the school…”
“Really? That Ms. Idrien holds her private class and teaches her class?”
It was a reaction that would make Julia and Illien feel sad when they heard it. Marey nodded her head cautiously as she looked at Celine, who suddenly reacted furiously. Unlike before, when she was quiet, quiet and articulate, her face flushed with excitement made her feel like a completely different person.
“Awesome.”
“Haha…”
Seeing Celine’s expressionless face, Marey smiled awkwardly.
“Mr. Lee Ha-woon is a beastman, so her children don’t like it. She hears that there are no kids in class who bully them so much in the name of sparring. Mr. Ycher de Valentine is… Um… I’ve only heard about this one too. I always wear only a robe, and I can’t hear well in class, but I don’t give a lot of grades and I take tests too often, so no one listens to the class. And… Nagisa Asano? I have never heard of this teacher.”
“It was recommended by Illien-sensei.”
On her bed, Marei was the king, but she couldn’t and had no intention of defeating them in school or knowledge in general, so she just accepted the timetable he set up.
“Does it believe in you or these people… Except for the three of them, it’s a class with teachers who only circulate vicious rumors. Monday and Friday mornings were colored, but this is a public class, right? Except on Monday afternoons, because the classmates gather together and hang out in the name of exchange.”
“Ah… That’s about to be decided by the end of next week. I left it to think while resting at the airport.”
I heard that her real mother’s teacher, whom Ravela had told me about, was at her school. In addition to hearing her mother’s story from him, she also wanted to know that it was magic that her mother had learned. She hadn’t finished her timetable yet.
“It’s not just salty. Then I don’t really have anything to say…”
“No, it helped me a lot. I had never heard of Mr. Nagasa and Mr. Valentine either.”
To be precise, she had no chance to listen. The homeroom teacher, who wants to have fun once again, has gone on a business trip on an urgent business, and Illien is just a good person ~ he has ability ~ as he answered, he was busy coveting each other.
In addition, Idrien is a teaching assistant for a long time, so she doesn’t have time to talk about personal stories or school. Was
“By next week, if you have any interests, please contact me. Then, next week or so, I’ll introduce you to a child I know. Since they are all good kids, they will be good mentors.”
“Yes? Isn’t Celine my mentor?”
Celine, who folded the paper with her timetable on it back to Marey, gave her a small snort. Rather than mocking Marey, she felt that she was self-deprecating, and she couldn’t get her words out.
“Now I am a mentor. That’s right… Maybe next month or so I’ll change my mind.”
“What do you mean by that…”
“It’s a shameful thing to say. Just, you’ll find out when the time comes.”
Marey asked again incomprehensible words, but Celine just shook her head and didn’t answer. Her personal story doesn’t continue anymore, and she just walks around the school and introduces the remaining districts one by one, and time passes.
“Anything that interests you is fine. You have to let me know by next week.”
Seeing the senior smiling bitterly as he handed her number, Marei gave her a small nod. She seemed to have a problem with something, but she couldn’t bear to ask. She knew that it would be very rude to ask a senior she had never seen before about her personal life.
Amidst the awkwardness, neither of them had anything to say, and at the end of the general explanation, Celine cautiously greeted Marey and got into a carriage parked on the side of the road. Marei, who was staring blankly behind her, struggled with her body in the suddenly darkened vision.
“Who is it?”
Friendly voice. Chest pressing against the back. And a rattling sound. The familiar scent of her calmed her startled mind, and Marei took a deep breath.
“Rabella-sama…?”
As soon as Marey finished answering, her vision, which was covered by her hand, returned to normal. Looking behind her, she saw Ravella in her Inspector General’s uniform smiling happily.
“Please call me Mom even outside. Is Marey ashamed of me being a mother?”
“No, it’s not like that… But I’m just calling outside…”
“Come on, Mom~ Mom~”
Instead of pinning the several medals on top of the uniform, I saw a huge chest that looked like it was placed on top. Marey opened her mouth cautiously at the sight of Lavella, who placed her hands on her cheeks and smiled affectionately.
“Mom…”
“Yes~”
“How long have you been waiting?”
Ravela covered her mouth and gave a small laugh.
“About 30 minutes? Everyone seemed to want to leave work since it was Friday with the International Relations Act, so I quickly let them go and finished it. I’ve been contacted by Illien. Is the lady just now a courteous mentee?”
“Yes, I am Celine Ferdinand senior.”
Ferdinand, Ferdinand. Ravela, who had muttered her name a few times as if it was a bit unfamiliar, shrugged her shoulders.
“Looking at what I don’t remember, I’m not from a powerful family in the empire… They ride around on things like that.”
“Yes? A carriage?”
Ravella nodded her head. She didn’t know if it was because of the Inspection Bureau’s unique outfit or because of her beautiful appearance, but she could feel the glances from the people around her.
“You didn’t see Marey where he lived, did you?”
“Yes, I’ve seen a lot of cars, but wagons…”
Ravela grabbed Marey’s hand and clamped it. Her long fingers nudged her wrist, and she felt strange.
“The price is similar, but the maintenance cost is above the level of laughing. The ones running in front look like horses, but in reality they are chimeras made of magic engineering and various complex studies. Depending on what kind of magic was cast on the wagon, the maintenance cost went up once again. Even the magic circles that can be glimpsed are expensive… It wasn’t something that a family I can’t remember would use.”
I couldn’t even imagine that the wagon, which was passed off as just a bizarre hobby of nobles, was such an expensive item. It was rather difficult to see cars in Valter. Is it an urban fad? I brushed it off lightly and passed it on. Suddenly, I felt a strange thorn.
“Last time the wagon…?”
“When we first meet, I want to look good for Marey, and on the weekend, I want to look better. It’s a gift from the emperor, and the management fee is covered by public funds, but personally, it’s something I don’t use often. Wanna ride again? I’ll call you right away if you want.”
“No, no… I just want to walk with my mom.”
To be tempted like this, I wanted to drag her to a back alley and make love right away. Ravela forced herself to hold back the rush of her desire inside her, and kissed Marey’s forehead briefly.
“Illien is said to be a little late. Can you go on a date with me?”
“Ah… Yes…”
Unable to hide her shyness, Marey gave an answer at the sight of Ravela whispering with her blushing face. She responded with Ravela’s delighted smile. She took Marey’s hand and hurried her steps toward her plaza.
“I go to the bookstore… Have a little chat at the cafe… And have a meal at a nice restaurant.”
“It’s nice… But what about Illien if we eat it by ourselves…?”
“Hmm… Taking care of a pet is also a virtue of the owner… But, well, the three of us eat together. Where you can rent a private room.”
Labella smiled viciously.
The bookstore was pretty quiet. She was told at the beginning of the semester that she was out of step. Conversely, if you think about it, the bookstore is empty unless it is the beginning of the semester. Ravella just laughed at what she was so good at, and she ran after Marey.
“Huh? This…”
A familiar face was printed on the front of a stack of newspapers. There was someone who looked expressionless on top of the podium, but when I looked closely, I could immediately recognize who it was.
“This Principality’s Founding Day… So, Daesup expressed its intention to participate in the Principality Festival. Since I have a personal relationship with the princess of the bamboo forest, the emperor ordered me to participate in this delegation, so I went. There is a lot of talk about why a person from the Inspection Agency is in the delegation. It’s a peaceful time, so things like this appear on the front page.”
When I sneakily read the newspaper, there was a complicated content written on it, ‘Sending a director-level person from the Inspection Agency from an empire that recognized the autonomy of the principality…’.
“Incredible…”
“Huh, then can you praise me?”
Within reach of your breath. Purple eyes filled her field of vision. Slightly flushed pink cheeks, red lips and white teeth faintly visible between them.
Marey, who was about to kiss her without realizing it, took a step back from her and shook her head wildly from side to side. She covered her lips with her hand, thinking she shouldn’t be doing this in public, and she took another step back.
