Chapter 5 – Episode 5
My eyes were tight.
“Uh… Go ahead and read it…”
Eun-ah’s chae-geun hit her ear.
“Boo… I’m sure you’ll like it…”
A slow, choppy tone. Trembling voice. That way of speaking that I thought was irritating before now came to me with fear.
Do-gyun’s eyes trembled and widened.
An accident swallowed up by fear. Survival instincts screamed at her to obey.
The world through open eyes. Black letters were dancing on the white paper pushed in front of my eyes.
Yes. Was dancing
The type dancing on the paper was twisting around, hiding its nakedness. I tried frowning, but the swaying print hardly showed me my true self.
Moment. Do-kyun realized why she had become unable to distinguish letters herself.
‘Ah…’
Shiver.
Tears flowed.
My eyes were hot. The heat of the moisture that slowly flowed down his cheeks seemed to leave burns on the trajectory he rode on and off.
“Uh, uh…”
Eun-ah’s embarrassed voice was heard.
“Why… Why are you crying…”
Swoop-.
Eun-ah’s hand landed on Do-gyun’s face. The tear-stained eyes and the cold hand sweeping down his cheek cooled the heat that radiated over Do-gyun’s face.
“Cha, that’s nice~ Dduuk~!”
The tips of her fingers brushed over her face. On the jagged, unorganized nails, as if there was a scar, the tips of the fingers with scabs rubbed against the skin, adding to the chill. Do-gyun’s eyes slowly lowered at the coolness and looked down.
“Ooh…You can’t cry…”
Moist moisture was swept away by her fingers.
“Kuu… When the bee cries, I… I’m so sad too…”
Eun-ah’s voice was wet.
As if mimicking her own emotions, her voice was filled with her cries.
Do-gyun’s gaze fell further down, and his gaze, which fell for a while, was directed to Eun-ah’s wrist, which was slightly below her palm and her collar rolled down.
Do-gyun’s eyes widened when he saw his exposed wrist, and his mind, which had been shaken by fear until then, was awakened in an instant.
Flash!
A shrill cry erupted from his throat.
“Gwa, it’s okay! Fine!”
“Yes…?”
Tears flowed in.
“Sorry, sorry…”
“…Yes?”
His mouth opened involuntarily and the words poured out.
“Writing! You should read the manuscript! Yes, read it now…!”
“Yes? Lol. Yes…”
As if Do-gyun’s sudden change of attitude wasn’t suspicious, Eun-ah’s cry from before disappeared in an instant when he told her to read the manuscript.
“Hey… I’ll be holding it here… If you’ve read everything… Tell me…?”
The manuscript was pushed in front of my eyes. Do-gyun couldn’t focus on it.
Do-gyun recalled what he had just seen.
‘Wounds… Cuts with a knife.’
Marks of self-mutilation ran through her wrists. At the top of her wound, a red scar that had not yet healed, probably a relatively recent one, was engraved.
The moment you see signs of self-harm. As her head went cold, Lee Sung screamed that she should not shed any more tears to Do-gyun.
Over all the accidents that had been buried in fear before, the survival instinct came up and awakened Do-gyun’s spirit.
Do-gyun heard the wound running down her wrist as a warning to him, ‘You never know when I might change and hurt you.’
Gulp-.
Her dry saliva went over.
My head was filled with the idea that I had to obey her. Her writing was not read, but she scanned her paper, rolling her eyes to and fro, thinking that she should make her feel that she was reading her manuscript.
Do-gyun himself felt that after a short period of one to two minutes had passed, Do-gyun took a short breath, opened his mouth, and said a word.
“Next page, please turn it over.”
Flutter.
Page turned Fortunately, she seemed to think she was reading.
‘Just like this…’
I felt like I could somehow get past this moment if I kept going.
“Next page.”
“Next page.”
“Next.”
One sheet, two sheets, three sheets. As the pages turned, the tension subsided little by little.
She said that while she was reading the manuscript like this, that woman would do her no harm. When I thought that, my heart, which had been beating like crazy, was slowly finding my breath.
That moment.
“Next page.”
“…Bee.”
Flinch.
Cool voice. Her hand as she mechanically turned her pages stopped, and her breath tickled her own throat, feeling a little rougher.
Do-gyun turned her head and looked at her. An expression that exudes coolness. Eyes glinting gloomily. Again, I’m about to have a seizure. Do-gyun’s head spins tight, accelerating her thoughts.
‘What? What else did I miss?’
All the while she pretended to read, she rolled her eyes in a regular pattern and repeated her words to turn her pages. From the beginning, she’s always been doing just that, nothing else special. Tension lingered in Do-gyun’s body again.
“…Yeah?”
Warble. Her Do-gyun made eye contact with her and asked her in the softest tone possible. Meeting her eyes, she looked at her do-gyun and opened her mouth with her glistening eyes.
“Are you reading it correctly?”
She, she wondered if she was just skimming through her writing.
‘A quick-witted bitch…!’
It was a terrifying insight. However, you can’t get rid of him. Do-gyun raised the corner of her mouth to make her smile, then answered her.
“I was reading it right. That part where you run away from the bug queen is very suspenseful and nice.”
Do-gyun forcibly looked at the unreadable manuscript, recalled a few sentences that caught his eye, and squeezed out an excuse. Looking at Do-gyun, Eun-ah raised her eyebrows and shook her head as if she didn’t like something.
“No, no, no, you don’t look right…”
“I was watching.”
Her voice grew higher and higher, and soon became an eardrum-piercing scream.
“Noaaaaa!!!!!”
Fuck!
Eun-ah, having a sudden seizure, struck Do-gyun in the stomach with her hand, which was holding her manuscript.
“100 million!”
His breath was choking.
“Turn it off… Oop…”
Tears welled up in my eyes again. While Do-gyun was breathing in the pain that suddenly hit him. Eun-ah’s voice hit Do-gyun’s ears.
“You’re not looking… You’re not looking…!!!”
“I’m sorry… I’m sorry… Oop…”
Eun-ah glared at Do-gyun, pressing down on the manuscript that had been struck on Do-gyun’s stomach.
“Because it’s… It’s punishment… It’s because it’s punishment that didn’t look after it properly…”
Eun-ah, with a distorted expression, said that and twisted the manuscript in her hand, pressing Do-gyun on the stomach. My breath was tight. The pressure on his stomach and the sound of rough breathing from the side harmonized Do-gyun’s mind and body.
“I… Properly… Breathe… I’ll see… I’ll see!!!”
Even in the midst of her frantic attitude, Do-gyun somehow pulled her words out and prayed to her.
Pop.
Spurt. The pressure stopped. Do-gyun, feeling his breathing a little easier, inhaled and exhaled rapidly, replenishing his oxygen.
“Mo… I can’t believe it…”
A voice that lingers. Let Do-kyun turn his gaze and look at Eun-ah. She was glaring at him with a troubled expression on her face. The emotional line has changed again.
She glared at Do-gyun for a long time. Soon, as if she had a good idea, she opened her eyes wide and smiled, curling up the corners of her mouth,
“Ah…!”
Hi-Hi.
It was a smile brimming with joy.
“That… Then it will work~!”
“What?”
Anxiety crept over him as to what other monstrous things the woman would do. When Do-gyun looked at her with her eyes full of anxiety, she looked at him and said to Do-gyun that her smile had faded.
“So… Read it out loud!”
“…Yeah?”
‘Did I hear it wrong?’
“I… So you know… I know what I’m reading… So… Please read it out loud…!”
‘Fuck…’
Suddenly, the atmosphere is a reading session. He looked at her Eyes sparkling with anticipation. If he refuses, those eyes will suddenly change and shine with madness as if he never laughed.
I couldn’t help it. She had no objection to any of the choices she had to make.
A feeling of exhaustion ran through her body. She has no choice but to follow herself. Do-gyun’s head creaked and moved up and down.
“Yeah…”
“Lol…”
A satisfied laugh escaped Eun-ah’s lips. Do-gyun looked at the manuscript. First page. I guess I’ll have to read it again from there.
Before long, the desperate Do-gyun’s mouth opened.
“It was a gigantic, insect the size of a building…”
*****
Eun-ah looked at Do-gyun as he read her text aloud. Eyes without double eyelids that were straight, smooth lines drawn out on the nose, and lips that moved small and read the text.
‘Joe… Good…’
The cool ripped features were perched on her face. At first glance, it seems like a fierce face, but I know that person’s warm personality, which is different from that impression.
Those ferocious eyes that were torn all the way would fold finely as she looked at her own writing. A smile would have lingered around her lips, and with that hand she would have written warm words for herself and for herself.
It was extremely satisfying.
The first time she went to see him, she found herself hiding under the bed and staring at him, holding her breath with tension. She wasn’t the kind of face that would smile kindly that she had thought, but she was scared. However, at that moment, she remembered the warm words she had written towards her, and her ferocious face was no longer scary.
“Hera, I have to save people.”
A low voice as she read her lines echoed in her heart.
Throbbing-.
Her heart skipped a beat.
‘Ahh… What if I hear it?’
Heat rises to her face. Be ashamed.
Wasn’t saving that person the best choice of your life? A sense of pride and self-confidence came flooding in.
It was so good.
You will never miss it. If the two of you are together, the rest of your life will be filled with extreme fulfillment. Will be together for a lifetime
Maybe it’s because we don’t know each other well yet, or maybe it’s because it’s our first meeting, so we make a little bit of mistakes, but if you teach us slowly, those mistakes will be reduced.
‘Eh… Because no one is good at it from the start.’
It seems to have been polluted by bugs for too long. You have to calm yourself down and get them to come to their senses quickly.
Eun-ah looked at him, trembling with her excruciating satisfaction and fulfillment.
“Run away.”
Then, in his own eyes, he could see the part he skipped over.
Back.
I pinched her side lightly, giving him a signal. Dokyun’s eyes turned to him. Small quivering eyes, oddly shaped lips. He didn’t seem to know what he had done wrong.
‘Ah! I missed it because I was nervous!’
It seemed that he was nervous at first sight as he gurgled his saliva. You seem to be a very shy person.
‘Cute…’
Eun-ah thought so and said to him with a smile.
“W… Here! I didn’t read it, and I skipped it!”
“Here you go?”
“Yeah!”
The bug queen’s scream. She wrote down the cry of the queen who was angry when she saw the main characters running away from her.
“Aha…”
The corners of his mouth seemed to twitch. Soon, he started reading the part.
“Kee… Kkieeck~! Kyaaaaa!!!
“Lol…”
It was great.
