Chapter 2 – Summoning (2)
An angel descended before me.
The angel slowly came down from the sky with his eyes closed and landed on his knees in front of me.
Over the angel’s shoulder, something that looked like wings was shining, and he closed his eyes and stood up from his kneeling position in front of me.
The angel opened his clear green eyes and looked at me.
And… The angel was very pretty. His pink hair had grown long, almost to his waist, and his face was one of the prettiest people I had ever seen.
He was not wearing a helmet, and his body was covered in sturdy-looking armor.
What was unusual was that the upper chest area of the armor was exposed.
And the angel had a very beautiful mountain peak.
In his right hand, he was holding a blunt weapon that appeared to be a mace, and in his other hand, he was holding a one-handed shield.
The angel, who looked like a noble paladin to anyone’s eyes, slowly looked at my face and suddenly began to kneel.
“Master! I finally received it. “It is an honor to meet you like this.”
Suddenly, this angel started telling an unknown story.
Master? It’s an honor to meet me?
I don’t understand anything at all what they’re talking about.
Then the angel seemed to find my leg with an arrow stuck in it.
“You hurt your leg. “I will treat your wounds first.”
The angel placed the shield in his left hand on the ground and extended his arm towards my leg.
〈hill〉
A bright light appeared in the angel’s hand, and an unknown warm feeling began to form in my legs.
And the angel easily pulled out the arrow stuck in his thigh.
I think I heard that it usually hurts more to pull it out if it gets stuck in the arrow, but thanks to the angel, it didn’t hurt at all. He should have been bleeding profusely when he pulled out the arrow, but the wound was already healing.
“Was this wound done by those monsters behind us..?”
The angel’s voice was calm, but I felt unbearable anger.
“Oh… No. “The orcs didn’t do it.”
“Okay. However, since they are a threat to the Master, we will exclude them for now. All wounds have healed. “Please wait here comfortably.”
In my experience, the wound on my thigh where the arrow was stuck was healed in less than 10 seconds. Even the deep cuts I got while working hard could not be healed so quickly by the church priests in Hilo, but they are angels after all.
Then he raised his shield again and turned towards the orc.
The group of orcs, who seemed to have been momentarily stunned by something unknown, came to their senses when they saw the angel looking back at them and ran screaming.
To me, that sight was the very fear of approaching death, but seeing the angel in front of me again somehow made me feel very reassured.
There are a total of 10 orcs.
I think I heard that at least 5 veteran C-class adventurers must gather to deal with it. To deal with it on your own, you would have to be an A-class adventurer.
However, if it was the angel I saw for the first time today, an unknown belief swelled in my heart that he would be able to eliminate those orcs on his own.
And then the orc in the lead started running, and something seemed to flash in my eyes.
And the head of the running orc disappeared in the blink of an eye.
It was such a sudden incident, that the orcs who were trying to run after him froze in embarrassment when they saw it.
I didn’t know what happened, but only after seeing blood dripping from the mace in the angel’s hand did I realize that the orc’s head had been removed by the angel.
Hey hey! After all, he is an angel.
“We will rule out our enemies right now.”
The angel spoke quietly and quickly ran forward, and what followed was a massacre of orcs.
An angel who kills C-level monsters as easily as stomping on ants!
I think you’ll fall in love!
With each swing of the mace, an orc lost its life and ascended to heaven.
The armor the angel was wearing, which I had defeated so easily, was as clean as new without any scratches or splashes, and he approached me as if nothing had happened.
The shining wings that were over the angel’s shoulder disappeared. It was as if battle mode was over.
But this feels somewhat familiar.
“Are you injured anywhere other than your leg? Master.”
“There is no place other than the place where you treated me earlier.”
“That’s a good thing.”
The angel who was looking at me with concern looked at me with a very beautiful smile.
“Thank you for saving me… But who is the angel?”
In response to my question, the angel made a blank expression for a moment, and then,
“Don’t you remember, Master? “We were able to become stronger thanks to the Master.”
“What is that…”
At that moment, an image flashed through my mind.
Long, pink hair, there was a familiar pattern on the chest of the armor that I had not been able to properly check because I was too busy earlier, and the knightly order-like pattern had “Einherial” Written in Korean, the language I lived in.
“Einherial?”
Looking again at the angel’s appearance, the pattern on the armor, and the weapons, the mace and shield, I know.
This definitely looks exactly like the weapon I made in the game.
‘Pandemonium’ and ‘Aegis’ were one of the pieces of equipment that I spent my salary on to achieve crazy material labor and high reinforcement values.
“Could it be that you are… A paladin of the Einherial guild?”
“Yes! As expected, you recognized it. Master!”
The paladin held my hand and looked at me with clear eyes as if he was moved.
“Uh… Can you explain how this happened…?”
“Yes. I’ll tell you anything, Master. And you don’t have to respect me. “Please feel free to speak.”
“Is it so? Well then, as you said… I’ll let the words go. “Could you please explain what you know?”
The paladin smiled and slowly began to explain to me.
“With the help of the Master, we were saved and gained the strength to fight against the invading alien monsters and protect the world we live in.”
This is probably the story of the characters I created in the game ‘Elion’ under the account name Ainherial.
Gaining the power to fight seems to mean raising character levels and equipping equipment that I made with my blood, sweat, and salary.
“What do you mean I helped you guys? “Why am I the master?”
In terms of flow, it seems like I developed the character, but I asked again to make sure.
“You gave me the strength to live as I was lying on the streets dying day after day. He granted me divine power so that I could walk the path of a paladin, and also gave me a powerful mace, shield, and armor so that I could easily defeat my enemies.”
Yes, I think I swore dozens of times a day while making that.
As anyone who plays the game knows, in order to become a highly enhanced item, you have to spend a lot of money to overcome the low probability.
In Elion, which I used to do, items are usually destroyed when item enhancement fails, but in order to suck up users’ money, the operators sold separate consumption items that prevent items from being destroyed in case of failure.
There were times when my salary was wasted in an instant through double billing.
What a sad past.
“Not only this, but they also gave us accessories such as necklaces, rings, and bracelets with special effects.”
Yes, this game started out with simple weapons and armor tops and bottoms, shoulders, belts, and shoes, but as more and more equippable items were added, it has now grown to a total of 10 parts.
“Also, you always led us to victory in our wars against our enemies. “The Master’s genius tactics never ceased to amaze us.”
A genius tactic… That’s not it. There was no element of strategy in this game called Elion.
Elion, which was a PC game, was a game where you controlled the character directly with the mouse and used appropriate skills to catch monsters to gain experience points, clear quests, and select a few characters to go on raids with other people.
“But at some point, I felt that my connection with the Master was lost. “There have been similar instances for a short period of time sometimes, but this was the first time I was disconnected for such a long period of time.”
A short period of time probably means the time to go to work for the day.
Being disconnected for a long period of time seems to mean that I was forced to quit the game after falling into a different world.
“At first, we were confused, so we asked for advice from Eiya, the creator of our world, to find out the whereabouts of the Master. Eiya said that the current Master had moved to an unknown world and was disconnected from us, and that the Master had been using “I learned that I have lost all my powers.”
Does this mean that my charging power is power? For the characters, I think it can be said to be power.
Isn’t it the power of God to create something from nothing? In games!
“So, so that we who have received help up to this point can now repay the Master, we have asked Eiya for the power to cross over to the world where the Master is. Thankfully, Eiya accepted our request, and now we are able to meet the Master.”
Has it descended like this now thanks to the summoning skill activated today?
There are only things that are still unknown.
“Okay, let’s go back to the village and finish talking. That…!?”
Uh… Wait, what should I call this character?
Should I call you by your character name…!?
“Why are you doing this? Master.”
“That’s because I don’t know what to call you…”
“Oh, you mean my name. “My name is Eli, Eli Charlemagne.”
What? Isn’t this the name of the character I made up?
“You’re Eli Charlemagne. Can I call you Eli?”
For a moment, I felt a sparkle in Ellie’s eyes.
“Ah! Do you want to be treated like a god? “It would be an absolute honor for me to call you that!”
Huh? What is new name?
“Deity? “Is it different from your name?”
“Yes! We are proud of the divine name that the Master has bestowed on each guild member. “My excitement!”
Ahh! Is Shinmyeong the name of the character I created? I can’t call it that!
“For a moment!”
But Ellie couldn’t hear me and she spoke to the end.
“This is Pingchaeng Chulong!”
